The room was located in a beautiful 18th century house on a quiet tree-lined street a 15-minute walk from the "action." On entering the house, you found a lounge with coffee, tea, fruit and little baked items from which you could easily make yourself a simple breakfast or snack. (We were surprised to see that were also bottles of liquor, although we didn't partake of them). The room was large, with tall windows on two sides, and it had several chairs which made it a very comfortable place to hang out when not out on the town or sleeping.

Our bed was small for a double, and kind of pushed up against one wall, which meant that if the person next to the wall needed to get up, they had to climb over their partner or over the end of the bed. People considering this place should also know that there is no staff on the premises. We had to check in and out at another hotel about half a block away.

    Privacy and charm

That mattress in room 2 has got to go, if you could even call it that. We did not sleep a wink.

The manager was super friendly and helpful. We managed the stairs but any people with knee issues beware. The place is charming, easy walk to a pub with outstanding Irish Stew. The sitting room has a small shared refrigerator, microwave and other kitchen items. New bathroom and large rooms.

Missed having a small refrigerator in our room

Lovely large room, great location near Grand Canal and local pubs and cafes - 25 minute walk into centre of Dublin

Having to walk around 100 yards to collect keys from another property - a key box would be a much better option

Excellent room. It's not the easiest to find a great place in Dublin which is central, quiet and has parking. The lounge at the ground floor was also good.

In principe there should be a parking spot for all guests but no guarantee

    Location was excellent

Noisy - both road outside and also people arriving back to the house after. Soft furnishings very worn/plucked (possibly by a cat) bedding was stained and the oven wasn’t clean. We couldn’t use any facilities other than try to get some sleep and then leave.

The building was a lovely 18th century house, and the rooms were restored to period styles, with modern amenities like bathroom and electrical outlets well-integrated. Windows were large sash windows that I was pleasantly surprised to discover worked very well. The location was good -- an easy 15-minute walk to the center and quiet at night. There was a nice sitting area where snacks, coffee, and tea were available free of charge. (There were also several bottles of whiskey!). The room was large and comfortable, and felt quite homey with extra chairs for sitting in to read, or whatever. In all, we were quite pleased with it.

People should know that there was no reception in the building itself; you had to walk about a block to another hotel to check in and check out. The bed was a full-size rather than queen, which would have been very comfortable for one person, but felt a bit tight for two adults, especially since the bed was up against the wall on one side, forcing one person to climb over the other if needing to get up while the other was sleeping.

The place was absolutely gorgeous, to be honest the only complaint is that they undersell themselves, more pictures should be uploaded! Our apartment was at the basement level and had so much to offer from a little garden terrace to everything you could need to cook, to gorgeous little decorative features and anything we needed we didn't have to ask for because they really had everything!! Will 100% be going back and recommending it to my friends!
