The hosts were kind and very helpful. The area has a shop, a couple of pubs and restaurants.

It is a private house of a family. they share the house. You have to share the toilet that is just for one person. Everything is very basic. It is also a bit far from the centre. Accomodation in Ireland seems to be very expensive, so It is not cheap either.

    Property response:

obviously you rated us without knowing what you booked or did not read our description, or have a clue about what is a value for money stay in Dublin .. toilets are for one person only everywhere in the world. look at other reviews and compare your idea of what nearly all others think ...

Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Rooms are very good value in high season and accommodated our dog. Well equipped kitchen for food preparation. Free parking. Shops close by.

As reflected in the price it's a bus ride into town though we actually had a pleasant walk in due to having a dog with us.

Excellent value for money and exactly as advertised. Host was easy to contact and accommodating around check in time. Also helpful with information on locality. Other guests were quiet and shared bathroom was not an issue. Shared kitchen option is a real plus

It is a nice spacious room with a couch (we stayed in a twin room with a bunk bed), the host is very friendly and helpful, the accommodation has a separate kitchen for guests for those wanting to eat in, and breakfast (cereal and milk) provided, it's an easy walk to the bus stop and bus ride into the center of town. Can recommend.

Squeaky bathroom door which isn't ideal for sneaky midnight toilet runs... Not a biggie really though, everything else was fine.

Extremely cozy room in a lovely house--very near to a park and the bus line straight into the city. The family was very kind too!

Location had bus routes close by, allowing easy access to city centre. Austin was friendly host with lots of helpful information. Room was tidy and clean with everything you would need. A small shopping centre & convenience store a short walk away. (safe parking for motorbike in driveway as well) Overall a good experience and great value for money :-)

very clean and spacious room with plenty of blankets and hangers for clothes.

Not a negative but more a note for those that have mobility issues. All three rooms are up a steep flight of stairs. I was given the biggest room but felt uncomfortable trying to sleep in a bunk bed so ended up on the futon the full stay. An adult cannot sit up on the bottom bed and I have vertigo and joint issues, so hard to climb up and down from top bunk. It would be a huge improvement if maybe a double bed replaced the bunk beds at some point.
