The least disabled friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in. In need of a refit, very old looking in the rooms and needs disabled access.

Great location and very good staff, the restaurant was good for both evening meal and breakfast.

Ms Quigley was very arrogant and rude .I had booked a dog friendly room but she argued that I didn't.. I had proof of calls logged with the hotel To ensure it was dog friendly..She continued to be defensive and downright rude. She could do with learning some people skills.

Location.food very good .nice homely hotel.

We didn't have dinner in the restaurant, as we were in the area for a funeral. we were a bit disappointed that we had to sit in the foyer instead of the bar to have a drink at 10pm, as there was no free tables in the bar.

    Breakfast was great.

We went for a spa and while the therapist was brillant the whole experience was underpar. The spa facility needs a hottub without question it's sorely missing.

It's a lovely quaint hotel. Staff are so friendly. Food was nice and it was a clean hotel.

The hotel is not really disabled friendly. A lot of stairs to get to the rooms. I don't know how a wheelchair user would cope. The Internet barely worked. Food two areas to look at, great looking fat chips, but more care needed when cooking, as they were still hard in the middle. Also need to look at a good recipe for mushy peas, they were just mashed processed peas and that doesn't make mushy peas, plus they arrived at the table cold.. The fish was excellent and not greasy. My companion ordered the curry. It was well presented and was nice and palatable. It was not, however, rich in spices. The vegan, chocolate was good and light enough to eat after a meal. The Disabled parking bays are in the right position, but are not wide enough for wheelchair users to get in their wheelchairs. Real problem for solo travellers. The same would apply to other disabled people. Despite a few issues, which I highlight not as complaints, but as suggestions for improvement. I would still rate it as 4 4-star hotel.

Friendly polite staff. From the start, the reception, bar and restaurant staff were very helpful, polite and friendly, including a handyman who helped us unlock our door. Ordered a little-known non- alcohol drink, it was made for me. A nice touch was that the bartender came out to check that he did it right. In the room it would be helpful to have alternative teas in the tea box, eg lemon, green or Peppermint teas. Another nice touch was that there were two bottles of eco water in the room and two small cakes in a small dome. The Spa was lovely, friendly and had a gentle staff member. Treatments and relaxing rooms are great. A thing to look at is that the rooms smelled of drains.

On our arrival at the hotel at around 4.30 - 5.00 lady at reception told us no lifts. We have knee problems. Took us to a bedroom that was already occupied. . Then another room 2 single beds. Couldn't sleep the first night and then the assistant manager [Considine] took over. He showed us the lift and how to use it. Very helpful man. He was so nice and very obliging.. After that our stay was beautiful. We had booked a dulux bedroom.

Lovely hotel. Nice assistant manager. Couldn't do enough for us. Lovely girl from Tipperary a teacher. Very helpful. Catriona helped us with the sat nav in our car to help us to go to Limerick. 2 lovely girls. Couldn't praise them enough.

Killaloe hotel and Spa is a really lovely, warm, welcoming hotel just a couple of kilometres from the picturesque village of Killaloe. We walked in and out of killaloe along the river bank each day, swam in the lake not far from the hotel and explored the lovely cafe's and restaurants around.Everyone working in the hotel was kind, friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was great and the beds were extreamly comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely be back.

I did mention this on check out, I was very disappointed with their selection of gluten free options on the breakfast buffet. It was very limited. I will say other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Perfect location. Very clean, warm hotel in the Perfect village of Kilaloe.

The breakfast- continental options very limited. Staff were absolutely little slow serving. The cooked breakfast was ok a little greasy and the bacon was very fatty.

Beautiful room with a stunning view. Staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly and happy to help. Loved the vending machine In hall was really handy for drinks etc.
