It can get a bit noisy when all the rooms are occupied.

The view is really magnificent. The hosts have added little touches here and there to make the stay more than "just okay". The shared bathroom was kept well cleaned. The breakfast was a lovely surprise.

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night!

Adrian and Brigitte were extremely helpful and welcoming, chatty, and prepared a healthy and varied breakfast. It was wonderful to have use of the kitchen at dinner time too. The house is in such a beautiful location, the views across the bay are stunning and the local beach was perfect for a morning dip. The beds were warm and comfortable and the room decor was excellent.

Nothing to complain about at all

Beautiful location close to lots of other beautiful places. I arrived in the dark and woke up to a gorgeous view of the water and mountains. Super clean with a relaxed welcoming cosy atmosphere. Staff were lovely and extra helpful with recommendations for the area.

The very friendly host, as soon as she saw my two sons, both 2 meters tall, immediately changed the room where the children were supposed to stay for a more comfortable one, better suited for our “giants” (at no extra charge). The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished with everything you need. The views from the living room are stunning. We received plenty of great tips for the rest of our trip around the Donegal region.

Friendly hosts who welcome responsible pet owners! Great breakfasts also provided. Enjoyed the common eating and living area that allowed us to meet and chat with other guests.

Everything was perfect - clean, comfortable, arty & wonderfully organised. And the views were just stunning with magnificent picture windows & well placed seats to relax in & soak up the views. Beds so comfortable too. And breakfast definitely worth waiting for - we had considered leaving early but glad we didn’t 😊 Thank you to the hosts for providing a great experience.

Comfort, peaceful location, with a great view, lovely helpful hosts, nice breakfast. I wish I had been able to stay longer. We were cold and damp when we arrived and were very quickly feeling human again after the welcome we received. Thanks for everything

This is a lovely, comfortable house in a fabulous location. The house itself is really well kitted out with all the amenities you need with some lovely creative touches. The view from the living room is spectacular. We stayed with a group of nine adults and the living room views provided a beautiful backdrop for relaxing and mealtimes. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and communication was very easy with swift responses at all times. The town was very close and had lovely shops with high-quality Donegal crafts. We enjoyed a really good session in one of the pubs one evening. We also really loved the Ardara area and it was a great base for exploring Donegal. We enjoyed listening to Irish being spoken in the Gaeltacht areas and especially enjoyed our visits to Sliabh Liag and the Maghera caves. We were also close enough to enjoy Glenveagh National Park and a hike up Errigal. We finished our stay with a visit to the local distillery where we bought some lovely locally produced whiskey. Ten out of ten for the Lookout and Ardara.

Unbelievable view! Incredible location! Nice couple hosting in the most unique and lovely way!!! Simply one of the most amazing stays we've ever had! Definitely coming back! And even some small surprises are included! AMAZING!!!!

The views from here are incredible and the hosts were lovely. We met another traveler there and enjoyed visiting in the spacious shared space. The property is peaceful and beautifully designed with the host’s artistic flair.

Loved the location and especially the wee house outside for 2. Hope we can book this in August this year. Loved also the easiness that everything was described, labelled etc. It works.! So nice that our hosts were happy to give us a lift into town and collect us after dinner. Very thoughtful

A warm welcome on a cold & windy day 😃 the house was warm, cozy & spotless. The facilities were fantastic & our very own musician added to ambiance but it was indeed the view which was the highlight! Magnificent (until it disappeared 😉)

Guinness wasn't great in the corner bar it didn't serve food room in pub was cold

Fantastic views great walks great beaches Guinness not bad in the town had whole house with the dogs 2 myself seen the caves magic seen Canada geese raven's shellduck buzzard heard chuffs met some of the folk great crack

The house is amazing, beautifully decorated and a tranquility spot with an amazing view. Everything is super clean and organized and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Will be back and will recommend to everyone.
