Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBreakfast is only available from 8:30, which is quite late. The host did assist with leaving a continental breakfast in our room for our early departure.
The hotel is nice with a good feel to it. I can imagine the front pub would be a nice place to spend a few hours and when the place is busy. We had a very quiet stay just after the holiday rush.

AustraliaThe location, the dining area , the lovely staff all made our stay a great place to relax. Tracy was able to upgrade us to a larger room which we really appreciated. We had our breakfasts in their beautiful dining room overlooking a tranquil stream. They were individually prepared by Michael and his team. The bed was very comfortable and the housekeeper kept us well supplied. We were grateful for the care and attention.

AustraliaOur TV was on the blink but it really was a positive because of the way it was handled. We were given a new room immediately.
The staff were genuinely friendly and engaging (thanks Ben!) and the accommodation was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order with fruit, yoghurt and cereal options as well. We liked the location - pretty, with the river running past - close to Drogheda, where we visited the fascinating ancient sites of Newgrange and Knowth.

IrelandThe bar was closed when I was there (I think anyway because there was nobody there when I went down for a drink), so there wasn’t much to do in the evenings, but it’s perfect for a clean room and a good breakfast if you’re looking for a place to stay for a night.
Stayed for one night as I was passing through for work. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean bathroom. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking.

Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean bathroom with excellent shower and well supplied with toiletries, spring water, and hot drink making facilities. All the staff were most friendly and helpful. Full top notch breakfast was served in the riverside restaurant.

The Owner and Staff were very nice down to the little things as we left there was no one on the Desk so we used the key drop off and went to the car, before we could drive away the owner came out just to say goodbye. We had a lovely relaxing break and each morning a lovely breakfast. Will be staying here again.

United KingdomWhen we were there they weren't serving evening meals, but we used a local takeaway and ate it in the bar area, washed down with a decent pint of Guiness. .
Hotel was very quaint, lovely location and parking for motorcycles was ideal within a gated courtyard. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful and friendly.

It was a lovely hotel, the building had a lot of character. Our room was small, we booked last minute but perfectly good and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was one of the best we've experienced with plenty of power. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was very good and a lovely spot to enjoy a couple of drinks in the evening. Overall we had a lovely stay and hope to return.
