The weather was fab so would have been nice to have a BBQ but we bought a disposable one which was fine . We knew it was a 5 mile drive into Carlingford when we booked ….it just meant that if we were having a meal and few drinks in Carlingford or Omeath , we had to get a taxi home

It was self catering but all modern conveniences…cooker , fridge , freezer, microwave Great knives, chopping boards , utensils . TV had lots of channels The Host , Marian was extremely welcoming . The pub next door, the Cornamucklagh house was lovely and Cormac was very friendly and informative A great pint of Guinness

The personal touches the little extras. The wee house is just a Fantastic stay. Cormac next door was just a pure gent and helped welcome us and make our stay that but more enjoyable. We will definitely be back

Nothing really, could probably do with a hook lock on the bathroom door! :) It is next to the main road through to Omeath, but the road is quiet at night and the thick stone walls deaden the sound. I'm a light sleeper and didn't notice anything at night.

Very tidy and well decorated property with modern and comfortable furnishings. Very convenient location. Accomodating hosts in Marion and her son.

The property was spotlessly clean. It is located in a quiet spot near both a small village and 2 large towns. The facilities within were excellent. It has everything a family or group of travellers would need for a stay. And the fact that the adjoining pub is now open owned by the same people is an added bonus. A superb place to stay.

Location was great. So close to Newry and Dundalk wasn’t too far either. Also less than 1 hour from Belfast. It was extremely spacious and was finished beautifully. There was so much thought out into the design and finish and it shows. Very comfortable home to stay in.

There were steep steps that had not been mentioned and we were a bit far from a place to eat when we first arrived. It would be good to warn people.

The house is located 10 minutes drive from newry close to all amenities but it's in a very quite location. It is also close to carlingford adventure center and Marina. The house is very well kept. Marion was very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay

As advertised, there was no WiFi available, and with the poor phone reception in the area, this is a little inconvenient

Very conveniently located halfway between dundalk and Newry, providing a good base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings. On the roadside, but the road quietens down at night.

Everything about the wee house was amazing, I went with mum, aunt and my children my youngest is 1 and Marion had everything covered to keep him safe between high chair travel cot even a stair gate… the use of the “secret garden” as we called it was a bonus not to mention my baby loving the donkeys. Also the wee house is in perfect location Would definitely recommend staying here.
