Could do with new pillows, as the stuffing didn't feel evenly distributed causing to be a little lumpy I very much disliked the road was almost involved in serious crash as on coming car came onto my side of the road while avoiding a pedestrian it's an extremely dangerous road quite narrow and very many blind bends .

Breakfast was very good most people would be quite happy I'd expect.

Sylvia was a delightful host. Room was wonderful, location was spectacular and breakfasts made it feel like we were home with mom. Very accommodating in every way. Would stay again if the opportunity arose.

Great drive from small town of Oughterard up to mountain and loch views which were stunning. Location was amazing. Room was beautiful and spacious with great storage. Couple from Venice who were just leaving had loved their peaceful week exploring. Unfortunately, we were only there overnight. Would've been great to take advantage of the lochs - fishing and boat trips. The Connemara Greenway (Italian with seafood) Restaurant, Powers Thatch Bar and Fahertys Bar in Oughterard town were friendly and made our evening.

I suggest you take slippers, shoes not allowed in the house. If you feel the cold wear warm clothes. Heating is on 6am till 7am. One day was very cold Heating came on again for 1 hour 8pm till 9pm.

Lovely king size bed, big room, lovely views, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. And lovely breakfast.

We'd really liked this B&B which is located in a beautiful area. The host, Silvia, is very kind and went to great lengths to make our stay really pleasant. Breakfast is great, the view from the breakfast room is outstanding; over the lakes of Connemara. We had the family room which was good, shower is good too. The B&B is very comfy and clean. The village Oughterard is only a 10 minutes drive away, with nice restaurants, Galway just 35 mins drive and Kylemore Abbey and the Connemara Visitor centre about 1 hour drive. I can really recommend this B&B. Thanks Silvia for being such a great host!

Only seating outside guest room was dining tables. Would be nice to have common sofa/ chair area with refrigerator/ ice to not bother the hosts.

I was not exactly sure I was in the right place when the directions took me down a dirt driveway. It was no issue at all, but knowing the house was not visible from the road in advance would have reduced my anxiety about being the right place. It really was no issue but since you are asking for feedback, that’s all I have.

The Tullaleagan Guesthouse was wonderful! My family stayed in two rooms. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast room was also very welcoming and clean. The views for breakfast were outstanding. The food selection and presentation was perfect. Would recommend this guesthouse!

Tullaleagan Guesthouse is situated on the top of a hill overlooking the lake area northwest of Galway. It was a beautiful area to walk. The yard and roadways surrounding the site were filled with blooming flowers and wild blackberries were located all along the roadways. Sylvia was a gracious and helpful hostess. Breakfasts were delicious and the view from the breakfast room were amazing. The nearby town of Oughterard has a wide choice of great pubs for an evening meal. Powers Thatched Bar and Restaurant was a favorite. They had a live Irish music Sunday evening, starting at 6PM.

We had to remove our shoes when we entered the house. Slippers were offered, but they were used, so we didn't take them. The 2nd day there, the host told us she was going out for the day and we couldn't get back in the house till 4. She didn't offer a key, so we had the choice of staying in all day or staying away till 4. We had planned an excursion to be back around around 2 pm then have a rest before dinner. As we didn't want to stay in the house all day we left and returned at 4. Seems to me that one rents the place for the day - not selected hours. Bath towels were dried on the line so they are rough like sandpaper. When we asked for new towels, she lectured about cost savings by not drying.. We booked a twin/ double and assumed we'd have a double. But double turned out to be two twins pushed together with 6-inch separation- so not a double. We have stayed at a number of B&Bs during our 3-week trip to Ireland and they have been wonderful. Potential guests here should be aware of these restrictions. It may be fine for some people. It wasn't fine for us.
