Google maps took us down a road that scratched the car being so narrow., but the normal route is fine.. So take care of that.

The railings on the terrace blocked my view of the lakes when I sat down, other than this minor inconvenience I can think of nothing else amiss.

Fabulous location in the wilds of the countryside. A well appointed and spotlessly clean property. And a fresh pack of coffee, milk and a cake provided on arrival! A friendly and approachable host and charming neighbours. What more could one wish for?

Lovely location with stunning views. The house was spotlessly clean and had all mod cons including 2 flat screen tvs and an air fryer! Lovely welcoming package was left and fuel for the stove. Will definitely be back, congrats to the host for a fantastic facility at a great price ✌️

I would like to have a dishwasher and a coffee machine. But in fairness there was a coffee cafetière and ground coffee supplied so not too bad.

On first arrival in the area we were taken aback by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The GPS brought us to the door without difficulty. We found the keys in the key box and the house was warm and inviting when we arrived. The house was spotless clean and comfortable. The views from the house are exceptional. There was an adorable little pony in a field next to the garden. We only stayed for two nights and we were out most of the daytimes so we didn't spend a lot of time in the house. But it really was perfect for our family. The host left a few nibbles which my children liked. There were lots of thoughtful items such as an extension lead (which I used for my laptop) as well as toiletries in the bathroom in case we forgot something. The cupboard in the dining room had a selection of board games which we didn't get to play, but would have come in handy had we stayed longer. There was a bath towel and a hand towel for each guest as well as kitchen linens. We were able to do a day trip to Achill on one of the days. Our family has stayed in quite a few holiday rentals in Ireland and this is definitely one of the better ones. Well done and thank you to the hosts!

A second shower/wet room would be useful but not essential

The property is located in a scenic location with views over the lake. It has lovely surroundings with great outdoor space for entertaining (weather permitting). The house is quite modern and very clean. It has everything one should need for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The owner was very helpful by providing excellent directions to the property.

This house is an absolute dream to stay in. It was spotlessly clean with the most beautiful scenic view across the bay. It had everything you wanted and the host left a few nice surprises like apple pie, tea, coffee, milk etc... The decor was so up to date and brand new. I honestly couldn't fault anything. If you are looking for somewhere nice, clean, quiet and beautiful, this is the place.

The only thing we missed was a dishwasher!

Host was extremely friendly, helpful and answered queries immediately. The view from the property was simply spectacular. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a lovely quiet location. We really appreciated the welcome cake (delicious), tea, coffee and milk that was left for us.
