The house had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The beds were extremely comfortable & the patio area was beautiful! Tom was a wonderful host & very responsive. Perfect for a multigenerational trip to visit relatives in the area. It was a quick walk to the town, 2 supermarkets & restaurants.

Very minor points that are easily fixed, the top bedroom skylights need cleaning round the openings between stays. A chair would be useful in that room too. Wastepaper baskets could be added to the bedrooms. In all honesty these are so minor and personal to each individual. Without these changes it's still a solid 10 out of 10.

The house was well appointed. 3 spacious double bedrooms 2 on the first floor and 1 on the second and 1 single also on the first floor. 2 of the doubles were ensuite and all 3 were equipped with fabulous showers. The kitchen was spacious and made for great communal catch ups. All the beds were very comfortable. No complaints from any of us. The outside area had plenty of seats, very welcome in the ferocious heat. Delighted with all the toiletries too, lovely white stuff products. Exceptional towels very very good quality!

Couldn't work out how to use the bedside lamps!

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely surprise to find there was soda bread, eggs, cheese and butter so we could make breakfast and not need to go out. There was also a bottle of prosecco and some KitKats. The owner was able to accommodate a late check in.

Everything! Tom was great to communicate with before, during and after our stay. He allowed us to check-in early as we were attending a wedding in the local area. We were all stunned with how amazing the house was, it was very comfortable and everything is to a high standard. It was unfortunate that we only had one night in Virginia Way.

There’s nothing to not like, and Tom was super accessible when we needed help understanding features different from what we were used to.

So close and walkable to food and shops, absolutely quiet, perfectly comfortable. Quite luxurious all around! Highly recommend!!

from the beginning we were very impressed..as we were attending a wedding we requested an early check in which was no problem...house and garden were spotless and well maintained..the welcome package of milk treats bread and wine went down a treat 😀 everything was perfect and we would highly recommend..wished we had booked for longer

Tom’s place was perfect. We were attending a wedding at the Virginia Park Lodge and the house was located a short walk away. Tom was very friendly, helpful and responsive host and his home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Beds were super comfy and hot showers! Could not recommend this place more and if we are ever back in Virginia will be staying again!

It was clean, had everything we needed especially as we were there during storm Eowyn Tom was a great host unfortunately we had no electricity due to the storm but no fault of the host. We didn’t get to visit the town as it was all shut 🫤 so we will definitely come back

That we couldn't stay longer

Because got the location it was an easy to Marie's kitchen for breakfast which was excellent. Access to the pubs was just a short work. Deerpark Inn for for food was excellent. For us we were half way between family in Cavan and the Navan races. Perfect location
