We loved our short stay, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on their lawn enjoying the sunset watching the dolphins in the bay. An exception place to stay.

The only problem we found was the noise. The room walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors talk and snore.

We had a mostly perfect stay. The breakfast is copious and delicious and for every taste. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and pleasant, exactly what you expect in an authentic B&B. The room is spacious and the view is superb. At night (when it wasn't overcast) we could see the stars. The room and the house are clean and free of clutter.

The bathroom needed a bit of TLC. The toilet was squashed in between the wall and sink with little room to manoeuvre, and the shower door didn't close fully, but it was very clean.

The setting was beautiful, and the accommodation was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and Lydie was an attentive host. The bacon was the best of any on the trip.

This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

The bathroom was a little tired and had a musty smell, but shower was fine. One of the things we have found everywhere around Ireland is that the duvets are too heavy weight for the time of year and we would really have appreciated a lighter weight option.

We really liked the location. It wasn’t wildly convenient but so quiet and gorgeous view from our window. The breakfast was fabulous - yoghurt the best we’d eaten in Ireland and the pancakes delicious. Lydie was very friendly and a great host.

Lydie's & Pierre's attention to detail with their guests' comfort in mind was evident during our stay: the breathing taking views, meticulously clean accommodation, & the AMAZING homemade food we had for breakfast. The pictures do not do this place justice. The rooms are upgraded and beautiful. I would stay here again if we ever visit Co. Galway again!

A 10 minute drive from Clifden town which meant we needed a designated driver 😬 but the views more than made up for that!

Everything! The location, the hosts, the rooms, the breakfast. The stay was a perfect way to unwind and chill out in a peaceful, wonderful location in a BnB that definitely has the "wow" factor. I cannot recommend The Waterfront Rest Enough. If you don't visit, you are missing out!!
