Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe bathroom needs re-doing. The hotel could use a re-fresh.
The staff was kind and professional. It was kind of a be-self-sufficient hotel. Great of you're on the go all day and need some place to flop. The rooms were clean enough, but the bathrooms were so old that I'm not sure how clean one could get it. The breakfast was clean and fresh. They had machines in case you needed a cold drink. The noise level was fine. We had a car so it was about 2 kilometers from the ⛱️ beach. The price was very reasonable for Eilat prices. They tried in little ways toward hospitality, and that shows something. We had a good Holiday and the price allowed us to buy other things.

United StatesThe pool was shallow, almost like a kiddie pool. Other than the lobby and dining room, the hotel wasn't very nice. It felt low quality. The Shabbat dinner service ended early, despite Shabbat starting late, forcing us to rush to get food before they collected everything.
The food was good. The A/C worked well.

IsraelWe didn't like the fact that the property didn't meet our expectations, and wasn't at all as described on Booking. 1. The hotel published having parking arrangements but when we arrived they said they don't, and then one of the managers took a picture of the page that showed that on Booking, from my phone, and went somewhere else. After a while she came back and when we asked about it again she showed us the website, and at the same page it said they have no parking arrangements. She said: "Our website doesn't promise any parking". 2. At the hotel page in "Booking" they offered twin beds but they had no twin bed at the hotel. 3. The room had a connecting door to the neighbors room. 4. In the end of November the air-conditioning was set only on cooling mode, as the nights were very cold. 5. The room was very dark, without ceiling lamp 5. For a person with Lactose intolerance (a very common thing nowadays) they had really almost nothing to eat during breakfast and the staff were very unpleasant as we asked for their aid in that matter. 6. We tried to cancel our stay there and move to another hotel, but the hotel management insisted on us paying 50% of the money although they didn't provide what they promised.
We really didn't like our stay at that hotel. The only thing I could say we liked was that because we were very angry about so many things (as described bellow) the customer service manager - Tatyana, tried to make our stay better in so many nice ways: Because we were very angry and wanted to leave and go elsewhere, the manager replaced our room to a room without connecting door to the neighbors room, and Tatyana brought us a little heater, a second blanket, a Standing lamp and also offered that we would also eat dinner with no additional payment.

IsraelThere aren't many facilities in the Hotel but we didn't expect that much for the price. But it would be unfair not mention that nothing was ever missing for us. If we had any problem at all, the host would address that immidietly and find solutions in a timy fashion with a smile. They had pro-actively made efforts to make sure everything was in place.
The service was outstanding. Everyone was going out of their way to serve is well and in timy fashion. We felt like VIP guests and that was defintily more than I expected for the price.

IsraelHere’s the updated review with the additional part included: During check-in, when I asked, “Until what time is breakfast served?” I was told, “Read the information sheet.” It’s clear that the room was recently renovated or refreshed, but it was done poorly (there are visible paint marks on the furniture and cracks on the walls). The breakfast is very basic (poor), with a very small selection. There are no toilet brushes in the rooms; when we asked for one, we were refused and told, “We don’t provide those here. You can call for cleaner”. We forgot to bring cotton swabs on our trip and asked if they had any, but we were told they don’t provide them. We requested additional blanket. It was provided but it was 90 cm size (children one). When we asked for bigger one, we got refused. On the second day, renovation work started in the neighboring room: at 9:30 AM, they began drilling the shared wall. We asked them to postpone it, but our request was denied. On the fourth day, the neighboring room’s walls were being painted. As a result, the entire floor, including our room, smelled of paint. Additionally, the worker’s coffee spilled through the connecting door, leaving a puddle of coffee on the floor of our room.
Cheap price, we paid 1870 NIS for 4 nights (467 per night) including breakfast
