Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThere were a few technical issues with the room. A staff member mentioned that the room I was in often had technical issues (when I later mentioned this comment I was asked who said that (to scold that employee probably) instead of taking the complaint seriously!! I had to call maintenance a few times. First for the tv channel signals then to fix the jacuzzi that even after the “repair” was more like a bath than a jacuzzi (not a strong bubble effect). The faucet is behind the bath so hard to reach for turning off and on/ temperature .. Also the refrigerator was loud (probably wouldn’t bother most people). In addition the shower didn’t seal well so water flooded the bathroom floor after a shower.. There was a box of fancy (4) wine-glasses in the room but no wine! When I called reception for wine they said I could get drinks only at the bar downstairs. Later I was told by another staff member that this wasn’t the case and could have room service? I’m still not sure. I was told I could have late checkout but the desk wasn’t notified and thus my room was open when I came to pickup my things at a later time (I want available to answer the phone when they called from the hotel at regular checkout time..) At the end of my stay I tried to tell the reception team about the above complaints but felt like I was brushed off. Too bad. If I felt that they took my complaints seriously and apologized, maybe offered some compensation I would have been much happier and wouldn’t be writing in this tone!!
I was at the hotel for a conference and took a room the night beforehand for one night. I took an upgraded room “spa” with a large jacuzzi. Lovely room with a large bed which was very comfy. Maintenance man (Amir) was very nice and helpful. There were chocolates and bottled water on the house in the room. Nice spread for breakfast.

IsraelCould supply towels before we noticed we dont have any, similar for toilet paper. Kid play area a bit lacking , can get boring for kid after two hours. Room safe almost worked, fridge was a bit unstable for storing large bottles.
Cosy atmosphere, staff takes notice of everything we asked, great food and deserts, water slide great for young kid. The garden very relaxing.

IsraelThere was an issue with the hot tub, and we got in very late and it wasn't worth calling maintenance. In the morning the staff was apologetic and wanted to refund the difference between the room with a hot tub and the regular room, but was unable to do so because the booking was done on booking.com. I reached out to booking.com multiple times since then and have no received any response to this issue, only a vague response that I contact the property. The hotel was not an issue- they were wonderful and committed to creating a great experience for their guests. I wish the website felt similar.
The staff is very friendly. The chef/manager called a few hours before checkin to welcome us and invite us to come for dinner (our reservation did not include dinner). They are clearly committed to providing high quality service to their guests.

United KingdomSadly, during our visit the country was in the midst of a horrible war and a huge number of men and boys were serving on the front lines. That impacted somewhat on the maintenance personnel available and we had a few issues, but to their credit the staff acted immediately to do their best to remedy them. Hopefully they will renovate the hotel soon and it will be a terrific gem.
First of all, the location high in the Judean hills with a magnificent view in every direction of the forests all around you and across the flat agricultural plains to the Mediterranean Sea towards the horizon. It is hard to believe this was all barren, rocky hillsides brought back to gorgeous nature in my lifetime. The food must get a huge mention. Israel is a foodie-paradise. This resort is part of that. Incredible food of all descriptions, with proper chefs and magnificent presentation. If you want to diet, you will need huge willpower. I cannot think how long you'd have to stay there before having the same thing twice. Its not often the Executive Chef comes to the table to check we are enjoying the food. The clean fresh air is invigorating and there are countless places to sit in sun or shade, in the open or discrete little corners. It is hard to believe that it is only a short bus ride away from the capital city, Jerusalem. Despite that, it's a world away. The staff (both Jews and Arab) were fabulous. Very helpful and accommodating. Always a friendly greeting from them. You cannot help but feel at ease and comfortable the moment you walk in the door. And perhaps an odd comment, the other guests were also so friendly. But this must be a reflection of the kind of people the resort attracts. There were all ages including some really cute children. The atmosphere was unlike anywhere else I have been.
