Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe positives and negatives taken together. Value for money in TA. Although the apartmentbuilding looks quite shabby from the outside, the apartment itself is as comfortable as simple. But almost 1/3 smaller than mentioned. Kitchen fully equipped. Rooms 1 and 3 at gardensite, not overlooking busy Jabotinsky road. Good location with all public transport, on holidays too. Bed mediocre. Cleaning costs $50 are disproportionate: to clean this (bath)room takes 1 hour max.
Small fully equipped kitchen.

GeorgiaThere were some minor problems which the host tried to solve immediately: 1) We didn't have a hair dryer. The owner offered to buy a hair dryer on our own and he would return the money, but we did not have the opportunity to buy a hair dryer on time, and then all the stores were closed. But we're okay without it. 2) The coating of the iron was burnt. Hope that it will be replaced as soon as possible (due to Rosh Hashanah all shops were closed). 3) Despite the fact that prices in Israel are crazy, especially for apartments, still, from our point of view, the price of this apartment could be lower.
A nice apartment near the Diamond Exchange. We're highly satisfied with the host who tried to solve the issues asap. We're staying there during Rosh Hashanah when the whole city freezes and the shops are closed. However, some shops across the road were open. The apartment itself was quiet, clean, and quite comfortable. We also had a chance to choose between vacant apartments and check in and check out at a convenient time for us. Special kudos for this. In addition, we were offered a 15% discount for further reservations which sounds really good!

United Arab EmiratesThe place is along a major road and busy even at night so a bit noisy at night. But i was still able to sleep well. Suggest to have a microwave for easy food heating, a hair dryer, universal adaptor and a bidet.
The facade of the building as bad but don’t be discourage as the room was really nice. The place has kitchen appliance and fridge to cook and store food. Comfy, spacious and clean inside. Same as picture above. The place is near bus stop and there are groceries, bakery, electrical shop and resto around.

UkraineMike is a great host! I was in the apartment from 28 of May till 1 of June. It was important for me to have a small kitchen to be able to cook. It was everything that is needed, Mike even brought to me the brand new cooking surface! All the facilities worked good, I felt myself really comfortable. The location is really good for everything, it is easy to take a bus if it is needed. There are two supermarkets in 50 meters from the apartment. The place was very clean, the hot water is available at any time. Mike helped me a lot and not only with the apartment, also he answered all the questions about the neighborhood. Totally recommended! I will definitely come back!

United StatesThe building is a bit rundown, with dark entrance. The room itself has some signs of wear, but overall manageable as location and proximity to things you need is very good!
Host was super attentive and wonderful. Location is great, next to subway in good area of Ramat Gan - very easy to find and checkin through automated lock. The unit had kitchen, amenities and tea with coffee which was great! It has AC, wifi - basically all you need for your stay. Bed is also comfortable

BelgiumThe room is smaller than it looks, there is a hole in the bathroom window and black mould spots on the walls. There were quite a few cockroaches even though I left no food outside at that moment. Might be difficult to access with luggage.
The apartment was almost perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable. The host was most helpful, friendly and polite, responded super fast! There is a 24/7 supermarket across the street, a currency exchange point with good reviews nearby and, around the corner, the bus stop with the direct connection to the center.

United StatesThe bathroom sink’s faucet is too large for the tiny sink and water easily gets all over you and the floor . it’s very noisy outside from the cars all night long if you have the windows open.
The host, Michael was very attentive to our needs. After a not too great start with being placed in a unit that was not at all clean and had a smell, Michael was able to move us to a much better unit (cleaner, larger, brighter and more airflow). The location was what we wanted - close to where our daughter lives and right next to shops and restaurants.
