Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesStaff was so so. First of all I called about 4 times the day before our arrival, and got no answer and/or call-back. I was actually getting worried and wanted to make sure our reservation was valid. On the day of our arrival it took 2 calls with no answer, to finally get a call-back. Reception process was only "OK". Front desk person was not very knowledgeable and some of the computer steps took her a bit of un-necessary time. She then took us to our room, opened the door and that was it. She didn't spend even 5 seconds showing us the room, asking if it is OK, perhaps explaining 1-2 things such as where the AC remote is, how the coffee machine works, etc. Breakfast was a great disappointment as some other people wrote. I don't know if it is because it was Saturday. The server laid down about 10 small plates with various things (such as okra, tuna salad, eggplant salad, egg salad, etc) with no explanation what is what. We also got 2 small Shakshuka dishes that seemed to be pre-made and reheated. These dishes were not very good. There was no option for omlette or other egg possibilities (because of Saturday?). Only the salad and bread were any good. A short espresso we ordered was served in a large Cappuccino cup. All in all a very nice room, reasonable price, great location, but some of the other details need work, especially the breakfast.
Great location on the edge of Neve Tzedek. The larger room (room with balcony) that we took was quite spacious. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the location is quiet at night, allowing for excellent sleep.

IsraelUnfortunately, there was a problem with the plumbing system in the room, and the water kept coming out of the bathroom, and sufficiently covered the space in front of the beds
We really really liked the staff. They were doing everything and even more to make our stay as pleasant as possible

IsraelI cannot mention even one .
We loved our stay in Gutman hotel. Service was excellent. The hotel is located in the historic Neve Zedek area . The hotel was once a Selina establishment. The new owners have done a great Job renovating it. The Room was spacious and beautiful . Breakfast Super. Many Thanks to Muhanad and Eli for a great service and warm welcome. We would love to come back! And we will. Everything is good about this hotel.

IsraelNothing in particular. Need to ensure parking close by.
Very nice boutique hotel within 3 old local buildings that were renovated. Quiet and secluded in a very central location - close to Neve Zedek, Carmel Market and the beach (all in walking distance). Rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was fresh and with a broad choice. Staff extremely kind and forthcoming. Also, lots of chic restaurants and bars close by for every hour of the day. Prices extremely fair. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quite corner in the bustling Tel-Aviv.

IsraelMy wife and I visit the area frequently, and each time we choose a different hotel. This experience exceeded our expectations from the very first moment! The location, the courteous staff, the luxurious rooms with their unique design – it all feels very boutique! We will definitely return the next time we stay overnight in Neve Tzedek.

IsraelThe design in the room feels very basic, cheap and not well maintained. We arrived late and the staff was slow and confused
The architecture of the building is amazing and very well restored. The location is great with many restaurant and bar options very close. The breakfast was very good and rich.
