Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United States1. Usually, after booking, a representative contacts you with instructions. This time we had to contact the host to get into the property. Moreover, it took us several tries before we could reach him. 2. The "entire apartment" is actually one room in what once was a three-bedroom apartment. Although, it has its own restroom. 3. Neither shampoo nor soap was in the bathroom. 4. Strong smell of cigarettes all over the apartment.
The location is right in the center of Rishon Le Zion.

IsraelFloor and surroundings were not clean enough (2 dead cockroaches on the floor). Whole floor was in process of renovation and was a mess. Microwave outside the room with no power outlet. Strong smell of mould in the room and one window was stuck so you could not open it to air the room. No real soap or shampoo. Shower head leaking.
Location was good- quiet neighbourhood, good communication with owner who gave exact directions. Room was of fair size. Sheets towels were clean. Ac and fridge were good. Lots of hot water.

United StatesThe apartment looked like it was under construction, which was not disclosed in the description. Nothing seemed to be targeting the guest comfort: there was a kettle in the room, but no cups; the small refrigerator in the room was the commercial type - the kind that has a glass door and is lit in a bright blue light when plugged in (we had to unplug it). The only electric outlet had the air conditioner plugged in. There was no closet or any other furniture in the room other than a bed and a tv, nothing on the walls with the old dirty paint, and a few cockroach corpses on the floor.
