Location, location, location. It is tough to beat. Guests should know that this is a no frills experience more akin to a guesthouse or a hostel than a full-service hotel. If you need a clean place to crash and not much else, this is perfect.

1. One of the decoration pillows on the bed in master bedroom had stain on it. Good that it was only decoration pillow. 2. The apartment would greatly benefit from replacing old furniture, 3. The faucet in bath was moving vertically if you apply small pressure to it - I just tried to switch water flow from faucet to shower. Was really afraid that it'll fall down. 4. The was a hole in the corridor wall made by door's handle - because there was no door stopper. 5. Throughout the night and morning we were hearing sounds of moving water (like some tanks get filled/emptied) + every movement in the corridor was heard really loud...

I've got upgraded to the apartment that had living room and 2 bedrooms. The overall check-in experience was great - stuff was very welcoming. The location was excellent - there's Aroma nearby for breakfast and very good Italian place nearby called "Focaccia". There was even a "LaMetayel" outlet nearby (my daughter forgot her walking shoes at home, so we bought her a new pair).There's also a sushi place "Sushi Betzalel" nearby. But the greatest thing about location - it's in 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the old city and for the price they're charging - it's a really great deal.

Housekeeping was substandard. Sometimes not done at all. Sometimes only partially. Beds not always made; garbage cans not always dumped out. Management was informed but was unable to consistently address the issue.

No parking available at the hotel, contrary to what description says. The breakfast is in another hotel next door, mediocre at best. I would advise to book room with no breakfast, save money and spend it in one of the excellent cafe7bakeries near by. The place is newly built/renovated but already crumbling.

Location is fantastic, close to everything and very central indeed, The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean. The price is very reasonable for Jerusalem.

No breakfast, tv did not work, and it was extremely dirty. Curtains, floor behind bed, and shower were disgusting, full of mold. Had to shower with shoes on. Not sure how this hotel is ranked high on trip advisor

straight sheets that did'nt stay on the bed. no microwave. Fridge hadnt been defrosted and freezer section was full of ice. unfortunately ( not fault of hotel), buklding nearby made it very noisy at times.

There was nothing about hotel Hillel 11 that we did not like. The only issue i had was not with Hillel 11 but with Bookings. Com who did not reply to numerous messages re the price. and in the end the two nights at Hillel 11 cost us a lot more than we had expected as the hotel were unable to meet my requests . My original booking for one night was an acceptable amount but when i changed the booking it to stay over 2 nights bookings . Com charged 3 x the amount and failed to reply to my queries. Even on the bookings . Com website, the amount quoted was considerably less than we were charged. As the booking was through bookings . Com the hotel were honourable to them and had to charge us that amount. Beware getting into such situations

Cold room. heat wasn't strong enough even though it was on full blast.
