Cleanliness could be better, there are some unfinished electrical sockets by the bed, while not a safety hazard, they aren't the most pleasant.

Perfect location, the bustop is right outside the door and any central coffee shop is a 5 minute walk. The Jerusalem Cinematheque is a short bus ride away, and we had a lovely weekend.

It's nothing related to the hostel but the other guests in my dorm. Never experienced this behavior in hostels before - they were quite disrespectful coming in at all hours and talking loudly and using the hairdryer at 1 or 2 in the morning. No sleep basically.

I loved the breakfast. I also loved the privacy of having a curtain on the bunk bed.

I got lucky. This was a peak hostel experience. I was here over the Christian Easter holidays and stayed in a room of all women who were there for the same thing. Mix of ages from 20-60. The staff is great and were completely responsive. Everything was generally clean and the common areas were well maintained.

The staff are extremely polite and knowledgeable in assisting in any way they can. Overall great communication and environment created by everyone who works here for all types of guest. Sharif was very attentive to my special request when I had to leave early in the morning and made sure to accommodate my requests

It is not a luxury location but that’s understandable for the price

The location is amazing. The bus stop is right outside of the hostel. The tram is a bit down on Jaffa but is so accessible for travelers with suitcases. Great breakfast that is such a bargain for the stay

The sharing process with certain other guest

I think this Histel is a great asset to whoever wants to travel in this central area, it offered a safe and clean stay that many locals and tourists stay at. I really appreciate the help of the staff especially Sharif and Rene in accommodating my personal requests and their exceptional customer service skills.

The charging station for mobile phone on my bed area is not working. I still have to charge my phone in a socket inside the closet which is a bit inconvenient for me but overall, the place is good and highly recommended.

The staff were accomodating. The reception is open 24 hours so it is guaranteed to have someone assisting you even during late or very early hours.

I had a fantastic stay at HYVE Jerusalem! The place is new, clean, and beautifully designed with a modern and welcoming vibe. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all major attractions. I especially want to highlight Asil at the front desk – she was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. Her warm attitude and genuine care made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The lounge area is spacious and cozy, the beds are super comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen is a big plus. Great value for money – I’ll definitely be coming back!

It has all you need for a comfortable stay in the city center. It's just 15 min walk from the Old city gates, lots of cafes and groceries around the spot. Well equipped kitchen, the beds in dorms are really comfort and private, big lockers with a socket inside. All facilities are clean and new. Great spot to stay in Jerusalem

One of the guests was intolerant and slept there even though he was sick and had caught. It was the problem of this person, not the problem of this place.

Outside, it was only two degrees at night, but the room was very warm.

It was my third time in Israel and at the same hostel. However, this time, the experience wasn’t as good. The power outlets by the bed and locker weren’t working, but luckily, I had a power bank with me. At night, some teenagers were making a lot of noise in the hallways, even playing football. The common areas of the hostel were very clean and well-maintained. However, the bathroom in the room wasn’t as clean—I believe this room needs some maintenance. This time, the hostel wasn’t as pleasant as before, but nothing that really affected my stay. After all, the location is great, the staff is very good, and the common area is nice as well.

There is no hot water in the shower and when you complain they tell you to run the water for 10 min before you enter. I think it is the worst thing also for wasting water for nothing. I have never heard about something like that in my life. really bad ..

It is very good location, staff Are nice, it has everything in the room include shower and toilet, breakfast on Saturday is amazing. They let me stay late checkout for very cheap price.

I didn’t like being in a mixed dormitory, I wanted all female! Other than that, it was ok except for the smelly snoring dudes well not all of them smelled but….

I loved the location, there’s a bus station right outside, there’s cafes, shops, restaurants right around the corner! It’s a busy lively area and I would love to rent an apartment in this location because it’s the best location in Jerusalem!
