Alon and Revayah who own the hotel provide personal attention at every moment! They will help you with anything you need, not just regarding the hotel, like dinner plans, etc. Truly the personal touch!

The hosts are super friendly and nice people. Explained everything and gave us a good advices where to go and which restaurant to visit. When I needed a pain relief tablet at the morning, they got it instantly. The location superb!

For 800 plus shekels in the middle of the week we expected get more value for money - for example why a strange hole in the middle of the wall? shaky and old furniture? Not good for 100$ a day, very bad for 200+$...

    Property response:

Dear Semion, Thank you for taking the time to write. You are right about the small hole in the wall, which was closed in a temporary and not aesthetic way. Old buildings require maintenance and we pride ourself on the way we maintain the house. In this case we had fixed an issue there before your arrival, but hadn't yet restored the permanent covering. Regarding the shaky furniture we are not sure what you are referring to. Yes, some of the furniture (although not the beds!) is old, but all the items have been restored and renovated as necessary. We checked your room afterwards and did not notice anything that was shaky. We aim to provide all our guests positive experiences and will continue to do our best to provide excellent value for money as well. Thanks, The Templer Inn

A beautiful historical house in a great location (the German Colony). Very hospital owners. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

The street is a bit busy so could disturb light sleepers

Amazing host, a house with a history, and an excellent location. Breakfast was very good too.

Parking is only free and close by if you are lucky to find a space on the main street.

We spent a great weekend at the Templers house. Location is great, and we enjoyed the proximity to the Tahana and teh german colony to walk around. The room is big and well equiped with all needs/coffe.... Street parking is easy . Alon was very kind and helpfull.

The hosts were very helpful. They let us check in early. The building is a restored house from the Templers who lived in Jerusalem in the 19th century. The room we stayed in was in two parts, with a living room-kitchenette and bedroom divided by a few stair. It was peaceful and comfortable. We loved the outside grounds and perhaps the best part of the experience was eating the tasty breakfast outside under lovely trees. The property is a 25 minute, interesting walk to the Old City, and right in the middle of the German Colony's winding alleys, an amazing park along the old railway line and with many shops and cafes.

The pillows weren't that comfortable. (I should have asked for a different one)

the apartment is in historic house. All facilities worked perfect. And there where a lot of "small things" to make the life convenient.

Wonderful hospitality, lovely surroundings. We stayed at the Templer Inn for five days in June. There are only four rooms, really small apartments, in this Inn. The rooms were immaculate, with modern bathrooms and well appointed kitchenettes. Alon and Reveah, our hosts were wonderful, pointing out local attractions and helping us out with transportation details. They served a lovely Israeli breakfast in the courtyard each morning and graciously accommodated my vegan preferences. They really went out of their way to help with anything we needed, including cleaning my white pants after I had sat on something, well, colorful. The Inn is a historic building in the German quarter and Alon proudly showed off all its history, as it has been in his family for generations. Walking distance to restaurants, bus stops and local shops.

    It was perfect.

The staff was very welcoming. It's a charming suite, clean and finished in the style. Centrally located and on a quiet street. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful.
