“I like the whole concept of living in a fortress during a weekend. Indeed, some modern comforts are missing, such as an elevator or a TV. However, this does not interfere with the overall feeling of staying at a magical place. My colleague and I really dived into a world five hundred years ago with some modern comforts, such as the swimming pools and the fitness room. We also appreciated the activities offered by the hotel, like the afternoon tea or the tea hours. All meals were absolutely delicious. It should also be noted that considerable effort has been made to maintain the hotel in good condition.”
