The location was a little weird as it had a strong river ongoing from behind and there was problems with internet as well

We booked a family room for 4 (two adults, two kids age 15 and 17). When we arrived they tried to bill us extra for our children, stating the booking was incorrect. We had to pull up the booking showing the details.

Very nice facilities. Out of the way and quiet location on the Ganges. Hard to get to and from from town, Getting rickshaws from town was difficult. Great spot if you want a quiet experience away from the hustle and bustle - not a great location for going into town unless you have transport arranged.

Door was broken in room and dirty food trays sat outside of room for hours. Windows of bathroom not clean.

Room service could be a bit better - often multiple calls were required to get something. had booked a specific room but was given something different and told it was the the one I had booked even when I tried to explain and then the next day they agreed that it was the wrong room and we were given the room I had originally booked after 3pm. That whole process was messy and this can be improved as I was travelling alone with my mum and just wanted to have a peaceful relaxing time. The corner room upstairs which is meant to offer great views etc etc is bang next to the kitchen with a narrow entry, with very thin walls so you hear kitchen staff, music, clanking the whole time till kitchen is closed . Also room only has a key to lock the room as the card entry doesn’t work . Finally the property doesn’t offer emergency medical contact for a doctor, access to a medical kit, or pharmacy so best to be prepared to be told you have to wait till 5 am in the morning to access medical help if you do need medical help late at night .

The private Ganga Ghat where you can sit quietly, peacefully along with the high tea every evening before the Private evening Arti is the highlight of this property . The location of the property is great as it’s away from the hustle bustle of the main city but not too far away as well .

Sukoon by the ganges is an excellent hotel with spacious rooms. The service is tremendous. Upon arrival, the staff was incredibly helpful, assisting with luggage and providing a seamless check-in experience right in the room.

Nothing was like in the picture.Not like four star it was not even 2 star.We had paid for 2 nights but could not stay more then one night.The room was smelling bad.The breakfast was horrible. Worst experience and Zero value for money. Highly disappointed!!!!!

Sukoon was truly a Sukoon bhara stay. With the best Serene view from the room ; you coukd literally spend your Dat sitting at the balcony and looking at the flowing Ganges. With a private ghat- it is very convenient to do ganga snan. Great Staff especially Sarika at the Reception and Dev in Housekeeping made our stay special.

I have been to Haridwar many times but my experience at sukun by Ganges was unparalled. The highlight was the private Ganga Aarti where I could experience the spirituality of Ganga Ji in complete serenity. After a day of exploring Daksh Mandir nearby, I relaxedin their steam room and enjoyed a movie in their theatre room.
