How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No toiletpaper available and some guests are making noise during silent hours.
Friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect, it is within walking distance of the busstation. They have a restaurant which offers some good and cheap options for lunch or dinner.

The location is a little hectic. No parking space.

dirty sheets (loads of brown stains) and bedding that's why it looses many points workers looked like they have never seen a woman. made me feel uncomfortable. no bidet it's more a permanent student housing. no hostel feeling. very hard beds

The washroom needs proper maintenance and cleaning. It looks unhygienic, and no proper hanging system of clothes is there in the bathing area. Also, there is a huge problem regarding water supply. If water and washroom problems are solved, then it will be a good hostel for travelers.
A food center on the roof has good, economical, and healthy foods. The staff's behavior is really good and cooperative. It's very close to the ISBT Bus Stand, Simla. Small beds are cozy, and they're nice!

There is Not much options in food, only paratha and magi.
It's practically middle of Railway Station and ISBT, you can walk in few minutes to ISBT which is downhill road, walking back can be difficult.

found no follow up for continuous water supply, caretaker visit must be there without intimating and display of name/contract person and his mobile number at every floor and their duty timings.
Breakfast is okay, but before going to bed it should be taken in advance, so it will not be any west of time of the guest, and it will be convenient to the contractor also to serve within time. guest should not get waited for the same as early morning time is precious for everybody. Location is better but the approach road is very steep slope and may get injured someone newly outsiders with their vehicles.

My height is 6.4 and my bunk bed was a little bit smaller for me.
It is very close to ISBT TUTIKANDI Bus Station. It took about 5 minutes on foot to reach here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bunk beds were cean and comfortable.

Had to walk 400m down hill as it was unreachable for traveller Water availability issues
The place was good. Environment was pretty good. Close to the city centre. Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. Value for money.

There wasn't much to dislike but it depends on person to person and their expectations.
Its good value for money. The price is very nominal for solo/group travellers. They provide parathas, maggi, etc in breakfast. Also the orders from zomato/swiggy delivers to this location(though takes a lot of time). Though the llocation is quite isolated but is directly connected to ISBT through stairs which is approx 10 min walk.

Some people were loud even around midnight.
This hostel is clean and has a good location. Food is available 24/7 at the new bus stand, walkable distance. No community space though that makes it perfect to pass only, or to sleep basically.

No common room or games room it's hard to communicate with people when you are solo
