Everything about this place is very nice..I am very much satisfied with the stay..the owner and the staff are very helpful and very sweet..always ready to help you ..you can go fir it without any second thought..they made us feel like home ..it was a sense of safety and family..very nice locality very nice rooms. Rooms were spacious and clean . Everything we need they made sure we get those .10/10 service..best place to go if you are looking to stay in jorhat

Honestly, everything about our stay was wonderful, but if I had to mention one small area for improvement—it would be the washroom ventilation. The circular open vent, though meant for airflow, felt a bit uncomfortable while bathing, especially with the possibility of someone peeping in from the neighboring property. Also, since there’s no net covering, tiny insects would sometimes come in, which made it slightly inconvenient. A simple, translucent net cover could easily fix this. Other than that, everything was excellent and truly heartwarming.🫶🏻

Our recent stay at Amar Apun Ghar in Jorhat was truly memorable. What I liked the most was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Santana Baa – her affectionate nature and caring hospitality were the cherry on the cake. Every little detail was taken care of with love. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings peaceful, and the delicious, homely food absolutely stole our hearts. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and authenticity. We truly enjoyed every moment spent there as a family. 🙏🏻🥹❤️

Though location is a bit far from the main road, but considering the convenience received at the property one can easily forget that aspect.

Out stay was very much peaceful. The hosting done was simply out of the world. The host was very much courteous and cooperative. Food served was exceptional and quite cheap.

Stayed at this place for 2 days and it was worth the money! Special mention to the staff, they are all very kind, sweet and friendly! Everything requested by us was fulfilled within 2-3 mins only, the STAFF IS AMAZING. Thanks for a beautiful time!

We stayed here twice and had fun both times. The hosts are really lovely and eager to help out with getting to Majuli island. The downstairs room was big and comfy. We also stayed in the traditional room on top of the building which was a fun experience but a bit less comfy - some doves came into the room early in the morning which was a funny way to wake up but perhaps not ideal! The food was the best part of the stay - cheap and really really good, maybe the best we had in Assam.

The homestay "Amar Apun Ghor" is located in a residential area with a serene environment and is hosted by a wonderful lady Santana Ba. As the name suggests, this homestay can be considered as a second far away home that is equipped with the required essential amenities, cleanliness, homely food, and most importantly a well-behaved staff that is always there for us at any time. It was my first experience at this homestay and l must say that it was a fabulous stay out there. I suggest everyone to experience a stay in "Amar Apun Ghar", once your visit to Jorhat.

Like the name said, it felt like home. Slept peacefully with 2 of my brothers. I wished i had stayed for some more days but i was in a hurry. I hope the owner and the people who come to stay there enjoys what i enjoyed. God bless and keep the ambience alive ma'am.
