Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaOverall a very pleasant stay, though proximity to other camps meant there was some disturbance, and washing up from kitchens went on into the small hours. In the desert all noise is amplified! The dunes are not far, and are busy with shrieking teens, beer bottles, and fast jeeps. It's nothing like one imagines, so be warned.
Located not far from the over-visited dunes, Amazing Desert Camp is a good option to stay in, well run, and far less flashier than some other places nearby. I liked the simplicity, the food, and the attentiveness of Jamshed's staff - and the evening's entertainment was exceptionally good, a small band with two dancers ending with a fire dance and bonfire. It didn't need to be amped up with huge speakers and flashing lights, and the best part was when they were all switched off and we sat round the bonfire. Very comfortable beds in the spacious tents awaited us. Wake early for a quieter an hour's camel ride to the dunes to see the sunrise.

IndiaWater flow was less in washroom.
Value for money deal. Good tent and staff were very polite. Food was nice as well. There was a 2 hr cultural program and DJ. If you arrive early and are the first one to check in, please don’t worry. Other guests arrive usually late in afternoon ~4 pm. We came to know that many guests do not check in as they see they are the first to arrive. The staff is very nice and helpful.

SpainI feel the facilities inside the tent could be improved like additional furniture as there was only one side table
I loved the location as it was a bit towards the interior compare to other tents which were on the road. The staff were very co-operative and helpful. My mother was facing some health problems and needed simple food. They made less spicy food specially for her. Apart from that, the food was good. The price was inclusive of Camel Safari which was a fantastic experience (for sunset). Jeep Safari was additional and would cost you 23 dollars to 26 dollars

FranceOut of our host's control, the landscape was kind of ruined because of many garbage in the desert.
Nice camp with clean room and bathroom under the tent. We love the dance and singing around the fire at night that make us discover the local dances. The food was good. Our host, Ali, was very nice and with full of attention, which was appreciated. In the trip, were included to see the sun rise and sun set with a camel ride as well, beautiful scenery My kids loved the Jeep ride as well although I found it a little bit dangerous

GermanyThe camp is not really in the desert, rather next to the sand dunes. However, the vibe was great :)
They picked us up from the bus after a very long ride and took us to the city hotel, where we were given coffee and a place to shower before they drove us into the desert. Very comfortable beds, good food, and nice hospitality. We were a large group of 8 and they were very accommodating—even upgraded us for free! Our trip to the desert was made simple and relaxing through this company.

IndiaAs we had booked for 31st night celebration and had paid huge money for it close to 60k just for 2 Tent total 5 friends. But we can say it was not value of money the same leisure we had got it one night before in another camp and the price was 10k for 2 tents they had good facilities. I would suggest this camp is not value of money what they are charging it for in future i would not recommend it for it. We friend reached this camp at 2:00 P.M but we got our tent at 3:00 P.M there were no welcome drinks not even afternoon food on request they had provided us but that was on extra charge. Party was over at 12:30 but rest of the camp they were celebrating it. I Don't want to recommend it in future to anyone.
We friends liked the location

IndiaIt is our the best experience to stay at Amazing Desert Camp during our Jaisalmer trip. Location of the camp is a bit inside from the road which gives a real feelings of a Desert Camp. The staff was quite supportive and gave us correct advice and information. The tents are clean and have a good space and amazing restroom facility. The staff has suggest star gazing safari after discussing our past trip experience and that suggestion was superb. We spent around 2 hours at sand dune top at midnight seeing stars, the galaxy & signs and that was one of the best experience of the trip. The food of Amazing Desert Camp was really good. Evening program and High Tea made our evening memorable. One plus point, The camp have Power Backup facility (Diesel Generator Set). We will defiantly refer this camp to our friends and family.
