Good location, excellent front office staff. Jaideep was in touch prior to the trip to ensure everything was smooth, went out of way to arrange cab from Jammu. Sanjay too at the front desk too was extremely helpful.

I think that this is the best hotel and restaurant in Katra. The chef really knows what he’s doing. Our Indian dinners over several nights were superb. Mr. Bisht, the hotel manager, helped us through our travel problems some small, some requiring expert advice with his full attention. His staff was always there for us. The best central location. Thank you Hotel Ambica Katra!

We did not get hot water and we had to repeatedly inform to get the issue fixed every time we had a requirement. The bathrooms requires better maintenance.

Nice location, spacious room (we had booked triple occupancy which had two bathrooms), courteous staff at front office, housekeeping and restaurant.

Everything. Have stayed at Ambica previously as well and it has always been a pleasurable stay. It was the same this time around as we. Complimentary drop-offs etc and things like that make a difference

Everything was great. Check TV and supplies when you check in. Late check out is max 12. meal price is bit high. Rest was good.

Perfect Family stay with Kids and Seniors. Property provides all necessary amenities, courteous staff, 24/7 room service , perfect location close to market, Railway station, bus stop,and Yatra start point. Though public transport is mostly auto and riskshaws which are easily available outside the hotel, the hotel provides a pick and drop van facility which makes it convenient for senior citizens. Inside the hotel there is a big lawn at the back side, a huge lobby and sitting areas, and the restaurant where the food was served was amazing. This was our second stay. at this hotel.while visiting Katra for Vaishnodevi Mata Darshan. Highly recommended hotel for staying with family and friends.

For us Hotel Ambica is a home away from home. Food is great, location is perfect. 5 mins from station, 5 mins from helipad and a 5 min walk to the main Katra market. You can’t ask for a better location. Their staff is extremely nice and courteous and they try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would specifically like to thank Mr. Karnel Sing and Mr. Baldevraj, both of them ensured that we have a wonderful stay and don’t face any in convenience, as we were traveling with our parents and kids.
