Not about the property, just a very busy , loud time of year. It is the holy month of Sawan in India, which I didn’t research, so just something to be aware of.

Could be cleaner and there was electricity problem . Sometimes there was no electricity and therefore AC wasn’t working and that made it really hard .

The property is located in a small alley among hundred alleys in a busy area.walking around to find the property would be tired of noise, motorbikes, and unclean alley. It is acceptable though as every alleys have similar character.

Nice stay after a long day in busy town. Good location for morning boat trip, The owner is knowledgeable and respectful🙏, staff are helpful, and facilities are new with cctv operating.

Its not that I bring it as a negative point, but I mention it in case anyone needed: You may need to walk for at least 10 minutes to get to the hotel. The main street might be blocked by cars or rishkas at different times of the day and this could happen alot. Consider this. Room 104: bathroom floor remains wet and water could not flow to the drain.

The location is great for wandering around, visiting the famous ghat and the live section of the city. You can easily get to the main ghat in 4 minutes walk through narrow alleys. Its wonderfu.. The staff were great. Greeted us with cold water in the hot days that we were in Varanasi. They also helped booking the boat ride to watch the sunrise over Ganga. Beddings were clean and room facilities were good. Both air fan and AC were working. We encountered two electric cutouts but fans were working.

You are in one of the small streets of the old city. That means that cars cannot get to the hotel and it might be noisy at night.

The location is superb, very close to the Ghats. It's my second stay at the small hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the water hot. It's excellent value for money. The staff are always very helpful and friendly.

We had a short trip to Banaras, but Singh Uncle, the host, is very helpful and gave us great ideas to ensure we cover most of the places within the city. The accommodation is located slightly in the interior of the lanes of Banaras, however uncle ensured that we were picked up and dropped to our convenience on time. It's an ideal place for a longer stay and to experience the true essence of the Banaras culture. All the important places of visit such as the ghats, Kashi Vishwanath are closeby and walkable.. All in all we had a great time...

WiFi was not the best, and as location is so close to the ghats be aware cars and autos cannot get there. The nearby streets are very narrow and larger ones are only accessible by walking or cycle rickshaw, as they are packed with lots of people.

Great location just a few mins walk from Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh ghat and all the best local street food places. Clean rooms with good AC. Very helpful staff who coordinated with driver to help with luggage transport to and from the car parked some distance away. Would stay again.

walking thru the small narrow lanes to reach Ananda Kanan hotel from the main road.

Location in Daswamedh ghat area near to Ganga Aarti event place.Rooms well maintained neat and clean. All the staff and owner are very supportive and helpful in meeting our needs. Restaurant and shops are nearby. I requested for Airport pick, which they arranged . It helped me to reach their hotel without issues in locating the place.

Was there during the Khumbmela festival. So the noise outside was abit crazy even after past midnight. Not the hotels fault though, just so happen we were there during Khumbmela. So beware if you’re there during the festival.

Nice owner, formerly a lecturer in the US. Provided free water and even chai tea for us at no charge. Great location along one of those small alleyways in old town, so it’s near to most tourist attractions.

The owner was very friendly and we found new information and help through him. Varanasi is the quintessential of 🇮🇳: life and death on the Ganga, in the most natural way. 2nd of April is the day when Ganga rest in silence: no boat on the river , the entire day. A unique day.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, keen to help and willing to refill our water bottles from the filter in the kitchen, and the shower had a plentiful supply of very hot water at all times. Nothing at all not to like - there was even a lift to get up to our room on the third floor!

Would have enjoyed an outdoor area ( roof top etc) on the property - I knew it didn’t have one prior. Not a complaint at all. Had a truly enjoyable stay!
