This was one of the best experiences of my solo travels. As a woman traveling alone, I’m usually extra conscious and careful, but after reading so many positive reviews about Anantha Guest House, I decided to give it a try. Initially, I was a bit skeptical, but the moment I arrived, I understood why the reviews are so glowing. Let me be clear, this is not about luxury. It’s about having a safe, humble, and heartwarming experience. The biggest highlight of my stay was the way Mr. Suresh ji, the owner, takes care of every guest with genuine warmth. That, along with the guest house’s close proximity to the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, makes it a truly special place. They guide you so well that you feel like you’re in safe hands throughout your stay. Another important mention is Mr. Babu, who handled my cab services. Even though I was only staying for one night, thanks to his planning and enthusiasm, I managed to cover so many temples and key locations that I couldn’t explore during my previous two-week stay in Trivandrum! He adjusts the itinerary according to your time and makes sure you get the best out of your trip. Extroverts will enjoy his chatty, lively company, while introverts will appreciate how smoothly he takes you around without expecting much conversation.

The water heater was controlled from two places hence it was a hassle to coordinate between the two. The guest house is behind a Nagaraja temple hence not ideal if you have huge luggages. But the hotel staff were always ready to help with that.

Location and the eagerness with which the Hotel staff helped us with all our queries. They offered us lunch recommendations to try out which was great.

Non provision of tea/coffe/milk poweders,though kettle is provided.

Property is very close to Sri Ananta Padmanabhan temple(north &west entrance). Very close to Udipi restaurant (30 steps away). Stayed in single ac room which is small but very neat and organized one. Clean bathroom with hot water. Small lockers in the room. High point is the staff very much helpful and courteous. Thanks for their guidance in completing 3.30 am darshan of swamy. Very much impressed and satisfied with the location due to which we could complete 7 times darshan of Lord Anantha Padmanabhan in just 14 hrs time.

Yesterday we stayed in this guest house and it is very close to the temple. The room was very clean. The hospitality of Mr. Suresh was exceptional. I will recommend this place to my friends.

No restaurant inhouse, which might be difficult for few people. Hotels and nearby teashops are available nearby eventhough.

Exceptional hospitality by owner Mr.Suresh Ji and his staff. Suresh ji having excellent knowledge on Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple Darshan timings and rules. Even the nearby temple details were advised by the Anantha Guest house team. Ananthankkadu Nagaraja temple compound also being an added divine serenity for stay. This stay is just 1min from the West (Padinjaare) Nada...and having darshan during Nirmalyam time from 3.30am gives immense happiness seeing Lord Padmanabha. Thank You Anantha Guest House for the Delux double room kept neat and clean. Purified water to drink and anytime Geyser too available. Rooms clean and dustfree.

Not a single thing.

The property is awesome. I have no words to really describe how wonderful the host Suresh and Hotel boy Maneesh were. They contacted us a few days before, and unlike other properties they offered all the necessary help we might need as soon as we reach. About the rooms, they are spotless. Spacious and very comfortable. My family(including senior citizens) loved the property and have explicitly said, "We will stay at this property, everytime we visit here". ------- They shared our contact with a travel agent(who is Suresh's friend) . They arranged the railway station pickup and planned our itinerary for the day, covering maximum locations within a limited time, without hurrying us in any of the locations. It was a superb experience. The property is near the Shree Padmanabhaswamy temple(literally 200 meters from West Gate) and they guided us how we can reach and have a comfortable darshan. The property has temple on one side and all the vegeterian restaurants including Udupi, on the other side. In addition, if you need something, walk 200mtrs and you get a wholesale shop of every item. So, there was literally no problem staying at the property. Mr. Suresh helped us in every step, until we checked out and boarded the auto to the station. The photos fully justify the rooms we stayed.

There is no Parking space available.

It is quite close to Ananda padmanabha Temple, just a walkable distance away. Also the rooms are clean, and affordable. The facilities provided were all great, with clean rooms. Overall great value for money.

We had booked this guest house for myself, kid and parents. The room was exceptionally clean and cosy. 200 m to reach Padmanabha Swamy Temple (West Nada). ATM, Restaurants were near like 100 m to the guest house. Staffs were supportive, welcoming and service was top notch. The owner was very humble and polite. I would definitely recommend this place for family.

Rooms are small.

Location was very close to the temple.Very useful if you have senior citizens. Staff went out of their way to help if anything was required.I needed an internet connection so they took me to a nearby cafe and helped me to puchase a headset as well as I needed to connect to a meeting urgently.
