The cable tv streaming was terrible, as it had static disruptions throughout our stay, probably an issue with the cable service provider. We did not mind because cable channels were not a necessity for us. The wifi speed is also too slow, as it is all across the state, probably good wifi in hotels is still not mainstream in Kerala.

The property was as expected, no bad surprises. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the Veg restaurant was really good. The price matched the property and the services, and it is an absolute bang for the buck. Location is perfect and you get everything within an accessible distance.

The furniture is old and worn out. From the lobby to room all the furniture needs upgradation. No fridge was provided in room even though mentioned in booking. The placement of light switches is awfully bad. It' was behind the pillows on bed.

A/c (air condition) was not turned on and the room took around 2 hours to cool down (i checked in to hotel at night 11.00 pm). Every time you go out the a/c stops and it turns on only when you arrive at the room and this was a problem as the time taken to cool the room made me feel uncomfortable (peak summer season made it worse as you will be still sweating for a long time). If this is sorted, then this hotel is all good to go for.

Nice, clean & spacious Room. Location was excellent. connectivity is really good and if you travel via rail this is one place to look for. Staffs are really good and they are well trained professionals. facilities - TV, minibar, coffee & tea, Ironing option, safe locker, etc all are good to have features and it helped.

Breakfast. They say its continental and when we comment promises to improve, but never improved. Its average typical Kerala breakfast. They have disappointed us for more than 3 times now. The chef should know whats continental 😡

The switches for the lights in the room were located behind the bed, almost tucked into the mattress. It took 15 minutes to find them! I wonder, why this design. It was not mentioned anywhere that they're located at such a place. The TV guide was missing. I had to scroll through the whole list to find the channel I wanted.

Room was clean and spacious. Buffet was great.
