How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was on 3rd floor and my parents had trouble climbing the stairs…. Other than that it was quite nice.
We liked the place and the religious temples around Ayodhya…..The stay was quite wonderful… the people at the guest house were nice too… took care of our needs.

Need geazer for got water, you need an auto to reach janma bhumi. Nearest restaurant is 1 KM.
The rooms are of good size, comfortable beds.

Kitchen opens at 8AM so you can't get tea/coffee before that. Rooms are not equipped with cupboards. Food quality needs to be improved.
If you are looking for a budget stay at Ayodhya, you can consider staying at Atulyam stays. The rooms were cleen. They provide wifi and parking in front of the property. The staffs were well behaved and co-operative. Specially the manager 'Sanjay' was exceptional and ready to assist you round the clock. Location is appx 1.8 KM from Shri Ram Mandir. Sanjay briefed us about places to be visited and arranged E rickshaw for our sightseeing. Overall a good and comfortable stay compared to the offered price.

Very bad staff. Poor service. Dirty, brown water. Unclean buckets. Uncleared dustbins. Horrible breakfast - salty, oily poha. Till we checked in, they kept calling repeatedly to know what time we would check in. Once we checked in, their attitude changed completely. Least bothered. Not picking calls. No response to any requests. Location also horrible. Totally bad experience.

There rooms were neat and clean staff were very corporative they guide us well. There place was good that we can park our car and move by auto anywhere. Overall everything thing was good.

I booked family room for 5 members of my family including 2 child’s for 13th to 15th…. During booking they offer 1 double bed & 1 large duble bed …. In actual only 1 bed & 1 iron small bed was there…. Bed sheet was massy no TV in room…. No parking you need to park with your why in gaali …They included Dinner in package but not able to offer normal pickle or butter …. Taken entire amount 4400 during check in …. Due to uncomfortable bed I can’t sleep entire night & decided to move for other property we left the place next morning …. When I asked/requested for refund after 1 day cancellation charge they told me please read booking.com terms & conditions…. Given a number whom didn’t pick my phone call inspite of 4-5 calls … Mr. Sanjay care taker till me arrive ed call me several time but after refund request no respond of phone calls ….. Night mare stay. They trapped us

Spacious rooms and delicious food Rooms cleanliness was awesome and the manager's saket has hosted us well and taken care of everything. Property helped in arranging an affordable tour plan to temple and other nearby attractions.
