Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe room had no nets , because of which keeping the windows open in the evening was a headache as it would attract too many insects flies which was a little off track.
the room ambience, the decor , the rooms filled with pots, plants added a natural vibe.

ItalyMaybe the guest house could get an internet connection, not really a problem if you want peace and quiet. It's a little bit out of the way if you looking for nightlife and a lively beach.
I wanted to see if Mumbai had a beach that was worth seeing. Unfortunately if this is your goal then you'll be very disappointed. After coming from Goa I guess it was understandable. In any case it's worth a day or two if you want a bit of peace and quiet. The ferry boat ride is worthwhile. The guest house is comfortable and tranquil. The host is very gracious and will provide you with an excellent meal.

United KingdomThe bed was not the comfiest for two adults - it was quite small and the pillows were quite solid.
The location is fantastic, really secluded but just a short walk to the beach. We spent most of our trip relaxing on the gorgeous private terrace which was perfectly shaded with a lovely fresh breeze. The home cooked food was amazing and Akshay, the host, is an absolute star. He even served a birthday cake for my partner's birthday on the last night! We could have happily stayed here much longer.

IndiaThe housekeeper was arranged at the time wen we ver out so it was a NO access to the room to clean . So the room remained without the mopping and brooming for 3 straight days . Also, the room with attached balcony lacks hot water beyond specified timings. So, if anyone, is used to late night hot showers can't rejoice the pleasure , specially in winters. Strong suggestion: The room with attached balcony should have atleast one wardrobe so as to accomodate the bags and clothes and a good view mirror.
The room with attached balcony is very spacious, just adds to the luxury . Calm and serene, this place gave us a great vibe wanting to extend our vacay a few more days . Special thanks to Akshay for arranging stuffs on my birthday and decorating the entire balcony.

IndiaI recently had the privilege of staying at the most enchanting homestay, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of delectable local delicacies and the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. This homestay truly exceeded all my expectations, offering a perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility, culinary exploration, and immersion in nature. Nestled amidst the vast expanse of the vast serene nature, the homestay's location is an absolute gem. The sweeping views of the untouched wilderness and the calmness that envelops the surroundings immediately transport you to a place of serenity. Each morning, I woke up to the gentle chirping of birds and the distant rustle of leaves, setting the perfect tone for a peaceful day ahead. The local delicacies served here are nothing short of extraordinary. The hosts masterfully prepared a variety of traditional dishes that tantalized my taste buds and offered a genuine taste of the region. The authentic local touch, every meal was a celebration of Malwani cuisine. The use of locally sourced ingredients highlighted the commitment of the hosts to both sustainability and exceptional quality. In conclusion, my stay at this homestay was a harmonious symphony of culinary delights and awe-inspiring nature. IndiaHello, we had booked for Bageecha Vayu. the person managing this property asked for a payment a day before we were scheduled to leave for this payment. On receiving Rs700 as advance he mentioned that Bageecha Vayu is not available and instead he mentioned that Bageecha Kshiti is available. The stay was very comfortable as the property had stagnant dirty water pond nearby which led to large mosquitoes infestation and made seating outside in the property unbearable. When pointed this to manager, he shamelessly mentioned that you are the only guests having this problem. But when I pointed that there are reviews mentioning this problem, he kept mum on this issue. He also charged us for the 2 bottles that come free with every room that every B&B provides. Can we get a refund for this painful experience?

IndiaRooms were not cleaned. Beds, bedsheets, pillows are not upto the mark at all. They are old and worn out. Rooms were not cleaned ever in two days of our stay. There are hardly any cupboards or surfaces to keep our luggage. You can't unpack on the window-sills. Too many decorative things on the wall- they irritate you. Handwash was not refilled. Basin is inconvenient. There is no kettle or anything in the room. The lady on the groundfloor is well-meaning, but can be requested only to make tea.
It's pet friendly and was safe for the dog. For people -It's very safe and homely. Location is away from the beach but I liked it -it's in the village residential area. Non-commercial. Quiet. Very local. Bathroom geyser was working. Bare minimum electric goods were working even if the power was cut. There was an extension board for charging different devices.

United KingdomYou have to accept that the bathroom facilities are a little basic. There is, possible, loud music from a nearby Resort on Saturday nights, but it did not go on very late.
A peaceful and tranquil ambience, with beautiful little artistic details, making this a great place to relax. Akshay is a welcoming and brilliant host, who went out of his way to make our stay perfect. We would hope to stay here again.
