The whole place was very basic, even grim, especially the bathroom. It was very far away from town's centre, a lot of steps to walk there and nothing interesting in the area. What comes to food, I had only one breakfast, and my omelette was so salty that I felt thirsty even after drinking 1.5 litres water.

Mrs. Benu was really nice. Homestay was inexpensive.

The location is a bit outside Darjeeling at Labong. You need to take a shared car from the taxi stand near Queen hotel. It's another 15-20 minutes ahead from the main square. The room was also pretty small and a bit dingy but for the price point it's not bad at all.

The food was great. I reached around 1pm and had lunch outside. For dinner I had a veg thali that was extremely tasty. Breakfast was delicious. Benu served us aloo parantha and happily gave me some extra butter with it. They had chai on the house. The staff were wonderful and made me feel very welcome :)

Wasn't the right place for us. Too far out of town - only half an hour hike, as google says, but very steep. Shared taxi to town only R30 per head but can be hard to find. Bed was really hard and not comfortable, room a bit noisy especially in the evening.

Very friendly service, good breakfast. Hot water properly hot, room clean. :)

The room and bathroom were dirty, the bathroom in particular smelled of mold. The water ran out twice, once when I was soaped up and standing in the shower. When we arrived for breakfast at 10:00, they said breakfast was only served from 8:00 to 9:00. Thankfully, we still got something. The next day, at 8:30, I found the door locked, and the cook arrived at 8:45, and we waited a long time for breakfast. I have to say it's incredibly cheap, but for a little more, we found great accommodation and a much more central location. We wouldn't recommend it and are surprised by the many positive reviews.

Location in lebong, 8km away from Darjeeling. Only one staff. Mixed guests including people who are partying openly. Facilities substandard.

Budget friendly Only staff present was very cooperative, friendly person. Nice view from top floor terrace. Away from hustle bustle of Darjeeling town

1. An extra amount was charged for the breakfast which was included and double the price from the market. 2. The breakfast includes just one pratha or roti for one adult which is unsatisfactory. 3. Tea and coffee is at an overrated price ,which was excluded in breakfast and was charged. 4. The rooms shown in the apps are totally different much smaller as compared to the pictures. 5. As a group of friends we went to enjoy rather than listening having strict rules and regulations of the hotel and the neighborhood. It's hotel not hostel!!!!

We did not stay in the hotel. The hotel said that they would not be able to accept the booking as they were already full. But they also wanted to check how many of us would be coming and for how many days. Unprofessional.

there are nothing to dislike as I experienced about all Darjeeling's people, everyone is very sobar, helpful.

I can't thought that Benu'di and her family treate with us like her relatives! We travelled other places, but nowhere we get this regards. We miss you (Benudi & all members ,😖). from fooding to all facilities she and her family members, relatives cares us every minute)... Thanks is very little word for her & her family members and helping persons... 💖💖💝

Somewhat far from the hub and locus point, but isn't that the charm of homestay and what we seek while choosing such.. Very amiable and pleasant people who ensure your stay is comfortable.
