Policy of not allowing outside food and alcohol. This is absolutely unacceptable for a property in Goa!

The food is excellent—all meals. The hotel is in a super location with clean beaches. It is value for money. One of the preferred locations to stay while in Goa.

water from the shower was flowing out till the basin as rubber casket on the door was not there. So the bathroom was full of water once we use the shower. Also the Air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night. It seems a timer was placed. The technician said it was a Mode issue

Bumping the drinks prices up when more guests arrived. The handle on the door to patio was fixed backwards/upside down so jammed fingers between handle and door frame numerous times.

Spacious and clean rooms. Nice location with a good view from sea view room. Courteous staff. Our flight was very late at night so they allowed us use of the room for a further 7 hours for half the price of an overnight stay which meant we had full use of the facilities, more or less, until we departed for our flight.

1. We were in the sea facing chalet. There were people in the rooms next to ours who were loud and wanted to spend their time outside. This prevented me and my husband from enjoying a quiet evening outside. 2. The staff were nice and friendly towards my husband. This is not specific to Bogmallo staff but everywhere we visited in India, my experience universally was that the male staff only believe in wishing the male family member - "good morning sir and how are you sir" to my husband without so much as a glance towards me. Nothing to be done. It is what it is, but it definitely stood out to me as I was visiting India after a very long time. 3. The taxi mafia outside the hotel premises prevented our pre-arranged cab driver from coming to pick us up. 4. The room was ok in size for 2 people but the bathroom was too small, no space to keep toiletries above the bathroom sink. 5. It was a busy time I understand, but when we ordered room service and kept our dishes outside after any meal, it did not get picked up until a day later. In spite of multiple phone calls stating that the birds were going ballistic on the dishes left outside, it took a lot of time for clearing up.

The location is unbeatable. We were in the sea facing chalet and the view was spectacular. However, there is no privacy when sitting outside the room to enjoy the sea and the view. The food at the restaurant as well as breakfast buffet was good.

Regular maintenance was carrying out, multiple time there was a drilling noise. I’ve raised complaints multiple times but after some its got started again and again.

Overpriced. Meals should be included. Eating at restaurant with surcharges was not really worth it. I chose it the second time in view of a lack of quality establishments in Bogmalo. Rating of 3 star would be appropriate. Other reviews should also be considered. Property with huge potential for improvement. The noisy weddings do not augur well for foreign tourists.

Friendly staff. Close to the beach. But beach was dirty unlike South African beaches. Meals were good but overpriced.
