The bathroom was not up to the mark — it was dirty, and used consumables were left scattered around, which was quite unhygienic.

The property is located in a prime spot with easy access to nearby places. Being on the 14th floor gives it a nice open feel, and standing on the balcony was refreshing with great airflow — it truly added to the comfort of the stay.

Bed was small couldn’t stretch my leg properly may be because I’m 6ft lol hahahaha…. Internet was bit slow hence I used to have my own phone data as hotspot while doing my work and yeah I felt my bed-sheet was not clean somehow i felt so.

Property is at the excellent location of KOLKATA, washrooms were clean, staffs were very much supportive and over all it was an amazing stay there. WILL VISIT AGAIN.

The cleanliness is a little bit of an issue. Washrooms aren't clean. Toiletries are not present.

The people you meet here are amazing. Everybody here is very friendly. Kitchen is free for your usage. Love the vibe.

great location, rooms were clean. paid for a night of decent sleep at a central location without much frills and got exactly that. staff also let me store my items till the next day which was great Pro tip: bring your own lock and key if you'd like to lock your items.

Shower is useless - like a sprinkler that goes everywhere so you need to use the bucket to wash. No hooks (female dorm) to hang your things. There could be more info freely available (e.g. on walls/reception area about local attractions. Staff could be more welcoming on initial arrival (friendly and helpful when spoken TO rather than instigating) - please smile and introduce yourself & make some conversation, not just jump straight into asking us to fill in our details.

Excellent location, within walking distance to everything and close to good places to eat (recommend Fire & Ice and Little Roti - both delicious food!) Quiet room (apart from people playing fuseball and shouting about it at 2am!). Comfy bed and nice room with lockers available (bring padlock). Hot shower. Breakfast available but can't comment as didn't have it.

There are too many beds per room so that have little privacy. Requires more regular cleaning (underneath the beds, bathroom). Lockers can be opened with a screwdriver from the outside.

Location, close to park street. Good neighborhood if you want to go out at night. Friendly hosts. There are not many options in Kolkata.

I had the upper bunk of female dorm room and the climbing ladder was not safe. It was a movable ladder and didn't have a firm enough grip to the end points which made it unsafe and difficult to climb.

The Staff was very cooperative and helpful. The property room had interesting setup. It was cleaner than I expected and had both air-conditioning and water heater which is great.

I booked female dorm and somehow they put me in mixed dorm without informing me when I checked in. I only found out because later there was a guy in our bathroom. The lady manager gave explanation but still didn't make sense to me. I didn't want to move room because my luggage was already there. Anyway the place is not like in the pictures. Good location. The worst hostel.

The non-A/C dorm is very, very hot

Excellent location and value for money, super close to all the central attractions & the metro. Up on the 14th floor (there is a lift!) the views are incredible. Free filtered water & a well-stocked kitchen. Got a free upgrade to an air conditioned room as well because a group wanted to book the non-A/C dorm!

No ac in day time , AC is only allowed from 8 PM To 10 AM No ceiling fan in room It's difficult to accommodate 7 people in one dorm with No ceiling fan and ac in day time and also when all people are drying their washed clothes in closed dorm

The food was incredible. The kitchenette provided helped make food efficiently otherwise. The common area with a view of the city from the 14th floor was beautiful. It was relaxing to read there. The rooms were well air-conditioned. The washrooms were equipped and maintained well. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodated all my requests. The location on Park Street is central to Kolkata. It was easy to travel to all major spots, while key locations like the Indian Museum were walkable. I'm a frequent solo-traveler and this is easily one of the best spots I've stayed in.
