We enjoyed being part of a piece of kerala's history and how tastefully the erstwhile godown has been renovated into a cozy haven. Delicious homemade appams were the icing on the cake and Paul was very accommodative of our newborn baby.

Wish we would do something about the mosquito situation, but being kerala, I know there isn't much we can do.

We absolutely adored our stay here! The property exceeded our expectations, perfectly capturing the serene atmosphere depicted in the pictures. My wife and I felt right at home in this quaint retreat. Paul, our exceptional host, was incredibly responsive and ensured our every need was met. He even arranged a breathtaking sunrise kayaking experience through the backwaters and shared valuable recommendations for local activities and dining. The breakfasts were delicious on both days, and the coffee was remarkably better than what we found at nearby cafes.

Paul created a charming space in an old structure very well located next the beach and the canals. Our host is very gracious, helpful and accommodating. We are so pleased to have stayed there two nights. Breakfasts are home cooked from a local repertoire.

Paul’s property is so lovely. The room has been beautifully designed and the whole property is clean, cool and super comfortable. Paul is very knowledgeable and gave us good tips for the local area and he also provided us with a delicious complimentary breakfast which was the best we’ve had so far in Kerala.

The property is a little way out from the centre of town and you would need to take a rickshaw to get around. Worth getting the number of a good driver who will come back and get you when you need.

Paul was a great and attentive host, the hotel is very clean, comfortable and finished to a really high standard, the room was spacious and set with high ceilings in a lovely old building. Breakfast was great, would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Alleppey!

Absolutely beautiful spice warehouse turned b&b. Paul keeps the place impeccable. Tucked away on a back road but not too far from lighthouse and the highly recommended Chai Walah, Paul organised out sunrise boat ride as well. A wonderful stay.

The place is totally clean, 3 spacious rooms and the area is near all sights reachable by foot and still in a calm area with a lovely backyard where we relaxed. It's a wonderful style of the building, which Paul and his family gave to the old building which is remarkable. Lovely Paul, the Manager makes this place to the warmest welcome we had so far in India. He helped us with everything we asked for, gave us recommendations for restaurants, tours, shops etc and hosted us with delicious Indian breakfast. He was always around when we needed him and makes the place best in town.

Really lovely place that’s exactly how it looks on the photos - comfortable stylish minimalist design. Paul was a fantastic host, really friendly and helpful with some excellent recommendations. Our favourite place to stay in India so far!

Stylishness and cleanliness are the main advantages of this place. Paul, the owner of this atmospheric place, was always ready to help. The homestay is in a very good location. I recommend it for a shorter and longer stay.

No wardrobe for clothes.

Paul was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property was clean and comfortable, and the highlight was the excellent breakfast that we were provided.

Water pressure in the rooms was very low

The earthy look of the place and calm vibe around the house was just the perfect place anyone would want. There was a singing bowl and other calming instruments around the property that keep you engaged. The rooms were spotless and were well maintained. The host Paul was a very sweet person, Paul also offered us some traditional home cooked breakfast.
