How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom should have an exhaust fan.
The cleanliness and arrangements inside the apartment were very good. Excellent location near food joints, markets and good residential locality. The host is very cordial. A Spacious and comfortable stay for us (3+1) for one night.

Surinder ji's place was a true home away from home! It was in a very nice residential colony and a stone's throw away from Sector 41 market with all necessities available. The host welcomed us very warmly and upon knowing that my younger son was running a fever, provided basic essentials from his home. He was always available when needed, but provided complete privacy and space. The best part was the kitchen which was very equipped and everything needed for basic cooking was provided for. There is a great drying area behind the kitchen which is full of air and sunlight. So, a perfect place to laundry up and freshen your entourage during a road trip. The washrooms were also well equipped with a geyser and hot water. Would love to come back and stay whenever in Chandigarh and highly recommend, especially for families.

No major dislikes, but it would be good to have big size towels as I do not prefer to use my own towels in short trip of 1 or 2 days and carry the wet towels for the ongoing journey.
The location is easily accessible and 30 mins from railway station. The property owner Mr. Surender so kind and was following up with me all the way till I reached. The property is very clean and is just like our own home. One large living room with a double bed and one bed room with a double bed. The kitchenette with basic utensils was so handy for making coffee/tea. Overall the experience was so good.

No negative sides!
Beautiful apartment with two bathrooms and two balconies, clean and furbished with all the basic kitchenware. The hosts are very kind and incredibly helpful in solving any issues.

The apartment was a bit cold during winter, because we could not work out the heating (we didn’t ask either, so probably our fault). The pressure in the shower was a bit low.
The hosts were very nice and helpful, it was easy to communicate with them and picking up keys etc. The kitchen had basic cooking equipment. They offered cleaning every day. There was a market just next to the apartment.

Place is hard to find. Google maps and booking shows it’s location 250 metres from where it actually is. Little hard to find.
Breakfast not included Host bought us a morning coffee and biscuit which was nice.

One of the best place to stay in Chandigarh 😊 owners are sooo nice ♥️ and the place is clean, easy to reach , and spacious ♥️ I would say you'll not even get this much comfort at any hotel . I'll definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to come to Chandigarh and stay and explore the beauty of Chandigarh ♥️

Good location and close to the center of Chandigarh. 100/200 Rs for tuk tuk taxi to all the central locations. Many markets (fruits, food, apparel) and green parks around the apartment. The owner and his wife were very kind and responsable. They let us to check in in the night and always supported for all the time of staying. Also they helped to book the train ticket. This apartment consist of 2 bedrooms, big kitchen and 2 bathrooms. AC is included. The price is normal.

Host was excellent. Very supportive and accommodative. Was following up all along during the travel and made sure everything is fine. Went beyond expectations, and the room/property is excellent too. Hospitality and cleanliness. Market is nearby and the place is centrally located.

There was no TV. Cooking facilities were provided after we requested . The living room furniture is very old ,need to change it.
