The room itself was cozy and clean but could use de-molding given the humid weather it is in. Another minor drawback is that it is not accessible in cars. But scooters and autorickshaws can reach the gate.

The room was categorised as a beach view room but there isn't a direct view of the beach. You'll need a binocular for that. They should update that information as it sets wrong expectations. Bedsheets were not cotton and were uncomfortable as it kept sliding off the mattress. There is no exhaust in the washroom and it gets stuffy after use. They should also place air freshener in the washrooms.

The rooms were clean. It's close to the beach (around 100m) but no direct beach view.

We faced issues with electricity and water the first day, but the issues were resolved only the next day by shifting us to another room. Recommend staying here if you seek a calm and serene stay, away from the crowd.

The mattresses were not very comfortable.

The hostel is located in a beautiful serene landscape, right next to a rice field and close to the beach. It is less touristic there and not so crowded. It takes around 30 minutes to walk to the cliff where all the restaurants and cafes are so It depends on your personal preference. I liked the nice chill out area in a garden and the hammocks.

Nothing as such apart from little maintenance in bathroom. Kitchen has limited menu, I find it little expensive but the manager hv promised me that prices are in consideration.

The Location! Surrounded by paddy field and coconut grooves… walkable to calmer beach portion. Each dorm is quite precious with en-suite bathroom and changing room plus balcony. Very airy and bright with natural light. Sai as a manager very cool and prompt.

The stay is comfortable for a solo traveller. The service provided by nithin was good enough. He even helped set up barbecue which was awesome 👌

Room lights were dim. No ceiling fans so, when slept in top bed it was suffocating. And eating food inside room were not allowed as other one who stayed in our shared room was not ok with it. The receptionist told us to eat outside. We were not ok as it is a shared room were whoever stays should coordinate with roommates.

This property's location is near varkala cliff and calm area. Rooms were clean.

had beautiful Time there ...But at the end they Ask me for the bill .I didn't have Time I just payed but be careful when you are at the bar take Time too make a liste by yourself . Because the bills explose 1500 roupie for one beer, 2 lemon soda ,6 chai ,1 breakfast and one veg Thali and they Ask me cash for one day scooter . They lie too me they try too explain the bills but the volunteer at the réception couldn't ... Of course 1500 roupie it's not a Big problem for me , but be honnest And loyal .... Thank you too give me Bad feeling it make the balance in my trip in India because I really love people in India but you can't have only good feelings 😉 Congratulation too you guy's this IS my first Bad review post

Room size, ventilation, shower not working, dim lighting in the 4-bed female dorm.

The overall vibe of the place is positive and fun, however, the 4-bed female dorm is really congested and without proper ventilation facility or lighting. The best part about the hostel is the canteen cook, he is a star! All the guests and the helpers are sweet and helpful. If you are planning to stay here, do try surfing sessions with Blacky. To conclude, the room is not the best for the price paid but the ambience, service, friends you'll make and the good food make everything bearable.
