Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything is good,
Stay was unexpectedly very good and the treatment was very good, The manager and all the staff were very well trained and helpful. I was travelling from Hyderabad and was looking for an option to stay and it turned out to be a super stay. 🙂

What I didn't like it's not in owner hand.
I recently stayed at this place and had a really great experience. The staff, including the owner, were all very friendly and helpful. Everyone made me feel welcome from the start. I especially want to thank the manager, who was extremely helpful. He did everything he could to make my stay comfortable. He helped me find the property easily, arranged everything I needed, and took care of all my concerns. The place was also very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay even better. I'm very happy with how everything went, and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

The behaviour of all the staff, especially that of the Hotel Manager Mr. Swapan, is very humble and generous. They're very helpfull, cooperating, and very attentive all the time. Good for a short stay of 3-4 days.

Nothing to be disliked. All the things were good and best.
The best thing was the hospitality shown by the manager and the staffs which was outstanding. It made my journey so so comfortable and happy that I can never forget. It was like if I am at home. In the late night also every thing was provided to me like food, tea etc. the management provided me cabs and taxis etc whenever I asked. I got very much touched by the cordial behaviour of the manager and the staff. Even I was received at the station by the management late night and very comfortably reached to the hotel. This kindness was commendable and I will always stay at the same place when I come next time to the city. The rooms are spacious enough and having all essential facilities. AC works very well. Overall very good experience. I highly recommend this hotel come second home to everyone.

The parking facility is not sufficient.
Our stay at Crystal Inn was truly delightful. One of the most commendable aspects was the exceptional hospitality of the manager, whose warm and helpful nature made our experience even more enjoyable. They went out of their way to assist us with our travel plans, which we deeply appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with well-functioning AC and a well-maintained washroom, adding to our overall comfort. A genuinely satisfying stay — highly recommended!

It is located at an obscure place, therefore getting a car to reach this place can become a problem from howrah station.
It is very close to Howrah station. The owner and the staffs are very helpful and friendly.
