We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IndiaOn morning of our second day, there was no running water in bathroom and lift was not working. Staff helped with a bucket of water after requesting. Lift they said was under maintenance. I can't understand how maintenance of lift can be a sudden unexpected event! Staff gave the impression that they cared little about guest's convenience.

United Arab EmiratesI did not like anything at this hotel. I stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Cullinan by Qotel – A block, Janak Puri for 2 nights (February 17 & 18, 2025). I had never stayed at this hotel or at any hotel of this hotel chain. As this hotel was a bit closer to where I wanted to visit, I had opted for this hotel. I had done the reservation through booking.com. It was a horrible experience staying at this hotel. Highly-overpriced. Very bad customer service. Hotel has boiling water coming in bathrooms for 24 hours. I could not even take shower for 2 days, as the boiling water would have burnt my skin. When I asked the hotel staff, their reply was that it was due to the ‘boiler system’ that the hotel has. During the second night of my stay, all the rooms adjacent to my room were rented to anti-social, criminal type of people, who kept their room doors open, with loud music playing. Each room was rented to 8-10 people. When I looked outside my room door, there was heavy smoke coming out of those rooms. Possibly those people were doing drugs. I complained about this ruckus to the general manager on duty. His reply was that they are also hotel guests and we cannot do anything. This sort of hotel chain should be shut down by Delhi police / Delhi government, where anti-social tend to come and stay. My whole trip to India was ruined because of this really bad experience. Booking.com should remove such hotel chains from its website.
