How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was a little noisy in the room when somebody at the reception was talking

Liked everything and happy to stay here again!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Rishikesh! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. The dorm beds were clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The entire place was very well-maintained and hygienic. I was also pleasantly surprised by the food – absolutely delicious and freshly made. The location is peaceful and serene, ideal for relaxing and soaking in the Rishikesh vibes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, clean, and comfortable stay!

The property is amidst the beautiful Himalayan mountains and Ganga river . I loved how beautiful and serene the place was. Kudos to the clean , beautiful and hygienic rooms . I would also appreciate the compassionate Mr Dheeraj was towards us , he helped throughout the process and also deeply moved by the services rendered by rahul and Manjeet . I would recommend this property to every fellow mountain lover . It’s beautiful , budget friendly with great amenities.

A Hidden Gem in the Hills – Echoes Hotel, Rishikesh My stay at Echoes Hotel in Rishikesh was truly memorable. The hotel is nestled in a breathtaking location, surrounded by serene hills and lush greenery. Reaching there can be a bit tricky due to the winding paths, but once you arrive, you're absolutely in for a treat.There is a glass house on its roof which gives you beautiful Ganga view. The view alone makes the journey worth it, but what truly sets this place apart is its warm hospitality. Dheeraj, the owner, is genuinely kind and welcoming, making sure every guest feels at home. Rahul at the front desk was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout our stay—always ready to assist with a smile. The food at the hotel was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great views, wonderful service, and delicious food, Echoes Hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Loved my time at Echos Hotel! Super clean rooms, great service, and the staff was really friendly. The best part? They were cool about late checkout, which I rarely see in other places here. Also, the prices are surprisingly good for what they offer. Highly recommend!

Dorm rooms were clean and comfortable. Moreover they had ample walking space. Food was also good. The best part is the location. You are right in the middle of the city yet it is very peaceful.

I loved everything
I loved that they have their own parking. Location is outstanding , peaceful , and beautiful , facilities that the hotel is providing is amazing that too at such low prices. This is the best location to stay in rishikesh as i have stayed almost in every area..so i can confidently tell this through my experience rest every place is just messed up with no facilities at all..and parking is a major problem in rishikesh..but this hotel is amazing.. many good food cafes are just near by..view from balcony is also good..also the best part they do not panic incase of late checkout which most of the hotels in rishikesh do...❤️❤️

The location was slightly difficult to reach via car.
I liked the staff. They were very polite and helpful. The rooms were also very clean and it had an amazing view from the balcony.

Still under construction, no restaurant in the hotel, although nice cafes nearby. No dish TV, No intercom in rooms. You only get a bed, too much cost for such less facilities. They have opened it too soon. We were initially given a room with no view, full of the smell of varnish, only changed when we complained about it.
The rooms were new, staff was helpful. This is a newly built hotel.
