The stay was near to the backwater and was ready to go to activities quickly. During season plan your trip which will be more efficient. Because during rainy season you can't go to activities. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was approachable and kind hearted.

The room we had would have been small for a longer stay.

This was cosy home stay run by a lovely warm family. The room was spotless and comfortable, the air con worked perfectly. We were able to go kayaking with the son and he gave us travelling tips too, which we are grateful for. The food was incredible.

There is no restaurant within walking distance of the homestay so you need to take a tuk tuk into town. (Although a home cooked meal is available at the homestay with 4 hours notice. )

Eden cabana was a real home from home, a proper homestay. TP and his parents couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. The homestay has just 2 double rooms and TPs mum made us the best Keralan breakfast we’ve had. We asked TP to arrange a couple of bespoke trips for us -a tuk tuk tour including temples, the Coir museum, Mahani beach and lunch at a “toddy” family restaurant. Top tip if you take away any toddy, either drink it that evening or remember to loosen the lid or risk explosion! Our other trip was an early morning boat trip on the backwaters starting with a beautiful sunrise, lots of bird wildlife and lovely scenery. Fabulous.

No hot water but it’s so humid anyway that I wouldn’t let that put you off coming

We really enjoyed our stay here. Relaxing location right next to the water. The family are so lovely and really look after you during your stay. Would highly recommend both sunset kayak and sunrise open boat trips - the family were able to help organise both of these for us, and you see much more than you would be able to in a bigger boat. We also enjoyed the homecooked breakfast and dinners that they made for us.

Absolutely pristine accommodation. Lovely Indian breakfast included. On the waterfront (however the houseboats park up at night obscuring the view somewhat). Host arranged a boat trip and early morning kayaking which was very special.

Everything! This was the nicest homestay I have ever stayed at. We were treated like family. The room was lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed. TP took us out for a sunset kayak which was wonderful and he also arranged a sunrise Shikarra boat ride for us. The parents cooked us up the most delicious breakfasts and dinners. Absolutely excellent! The location right in the backwaters was stunning and you felt like you were so far away from the hustle and bustle of Alleppey even though it only took 15minutes to get there. Definitely stay here if you come to Alleppey. So wonderful!!

Perfectly located Homestay, near to the water. Wide room with AC. The best from all were the hosts. So warm and welcoming! T.P. offered to take me around the town and ended being a bid tour. I was simpy taken by his generosity. I had a lovely time and can just recommend the place!

Its remote location. It was a little hard to locate on the Google maps; even the locals (auto driver) got confused a little and charged us exorbitant prices till the location.

The property is clean and well ventilated. As it is a home stay, we got homely vibes from the place. Both the host and his mother were humble and welcoming. The host also helped us book tickets for Kayaking and Shikaara at a reasonable price even though it was very last minute and peak season. As for the location, you have to walk on foot for a few metres as it is a little inside. But even this has some perks, kayaking and shikaara start right in front of the house.

Though everything was hygienic we saw ants on the bed so asked them to undo-redo the bedsheet. You have walk to the main road to get a rickshaw which is 250m walk. Then you can goto places nearby. So the location has its merits and demerits both.

The location is attached to Lake, good homestay. Host and staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms & bathroom were clean and well built. The place is via a gully but the host was very good so he called out the rickshaw for us when we were leaving.

It was a amazing experience to be welcomed by TP and his family at their home. They made us feel like home. We did a session of kayaking at sunset with TP and it was really nice and fun ! He was very arranging and kind.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eden Cabana; the accomodation was cosy and clean, with a great view next to the river and Tp (Pranav) and his family were so welcoming and hospitable. It was our first time in the Alleppey and Tp was very helpful in arranging our activities (kayaking, boat cruise), and local experiences (toddy shops, the lighthouse, beach sunset). Would definitely recommend staying here, especially if it’s your first time in India or Kerala.

The backwater tours were a little pricey

Very friendly hosts looked after me, cooked good breakfast, and very good sweet chai. Location and sitting area is really nice. They also arranged boat tours and kayaking on the backwaters.

I did not dislike a single thing.

Eden Cabana homestay is as good as it gets for hospitality. 5 stars for every measure of how wonderful my stay was. Kayaking available from the host and it is spectacular in the backwaters at sundown. The whole family is helpful and they will treat you like family. I did not want to leave.

The location, host and hospitality everything is top notch. We had a wonderful experience at Eden cabana and we also extended one more day of our stay. The host Pranav himself is a travel enthusiast and knows exactly what the guests need. The room is cozy, hygienic and you'll be given a warm welcome from the family. Pranav will suggest and help you to plan your day's activities and personally take care of every activity. It is worth your time!
