Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is located in a very vibrant part of Howrah. Not far from the rail station but full.of traffic. Rooms are not as posh as the pictures reflect but good enough and clean.

Czech RepublicIt's very difficult to find this hotel. The address published at booking is misleading with some errors. It cost me additional money because a taxi from the airport ended in a different hotel and we went on a long journey to find the right one. When I told the driver it was not my fault, the receptionist supported the driver, confirming that there was a mistake in the address. The room was ugly and dirty, no window. The hotel didn't have a room to store my small luggage, when I needed it after check out till the late afternoon. I paid for breakfast and was promised to have it before 8 am, but there was no breakfast and nobody to serve it at 8 am at all. So, it was a scam. I paid for nothing.

NetherlandsThe room was not clean, the sheets were stained and the bathroom had many hairs in it, as well as the floor of the room itself. The wiring in the bathroom was not safe and one of us got an electric shock during showering. You could hear the mice/rats walk through the ceiling/walls during the night. The staff didn’t speak English very well and it was unclear in the booking email which location we had to go to (they have multiple apparently). Also we booked a breakfast with it, but it turned out they do not make their own breakfast. They can order you something on the street which you can eat in the lobby which is nothing more than a couch.
Close to the station from which the train to Darjeeling leaves.
