That there were stains on the toilet bowl when it was not used at all. This is very baffling.

The bathroom keeps overflowing with water when I took a shower. As such, the bathroom was always wet which makes it very slippery and unsafe. Something can be done to ensure that the water does not flow out of the shower when one is showering.

Booking.Com needs to have a better interface with properties with regard to guests’ requests. And Fairfield also needs to have attentive staff on the front desk who understand issues.

The overall look and feel of the rooms- the properly looked very dated- definitely not expected from a Marriott property and specifically not in a suite.

The staff was superb and accommodating. Rohit from Housekeeping was amazing and so were the staff at Front desk and all day dining restaurant.

Staff member was so courteous and attentive- I have never received such kind service from hotel staff anywhere in the world - considering I travel extensively and never leave feedback- special mention to Manorama in the breakfast time and the housekeeping staff (I did not get his name but he is the one who cannot talk) - thank you so much for making it so special for my family

No sports facilities.

Close to the railway station so very convenient. Hidden inside a lane so quiet property. Had a rooftop open pool that was good.

In washroom it seems there needs some attention as the water from shower will make the whole washroom wet . Though Shower room is properly closed still there is some leak. Its just some easy fix by doing so will retain good reputation to the hotel. As my mom was old and she fot slipped twice unfortunately nothing serious but i don't want others to get affected .

The beds weren’t great – the springy mattresses didn’t offer much support and might not be suitable for those with back issues. As I mentioned, when it comes down to comfortable sleep.. Neither me nor my family members found the bed comfortable enough for a peaceful sleep.

Stayed here recently and found the hotel to be decent and very clean. It’s conveniently located, making it easy to get around the city. The staff was attentive and courteous throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast had a good variety and was quite tasty. We also tried the dinner – generous portions and flavorful dishes made it a satisfying experience. That said, the comfort factor was a letdown. The beds weren’t great. Overall, it’s value for money if location and service matter most, but I’d hesitate to recommend it to anyone prioritizing sleep comfort.

There was nothing not to like. We first booked at another hotel but on arrival realised that the booking advertised and the hotel was not the same. We then booked at the Fairfield Marriott who luckily were able to accommodate us on short notice and what a pleasant experience. We felt so welcome and safe at the hotel - wished we could stay longer.

The hotel is maintained at a very high standard. The rooms were adequate for a one night stay. We loved the restaurant and the way the hotel showcased local foods and culture. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Entrance is poor, doesn’t justify the facilities. IT systems were always off and staff sometimes seem overwhelmed especially at reception, even though it was not busy.

Breakfast had really good Choices and Varied to suit all needs, Used the Buffet in Evening and was great Value for Money. Bar Drinks a bit expensive. Beer was £5 for 330ml. Location was perfect for sightseeing Amritsar, 10 mins from all the Hustle and Bustle and off the Main Road to maintain Quiet ambience

Trying to contact the hotel prior to our arrival was appalling. The phone is always engaged and emailing was sloppy.

I loved this hotel. Room was comfortable with the most comfortable pillows I think I have ever had in a hotel. Lovely pool, very friendly staff and the breakfast and other meals were very good.

Food, from the snacks menu the club sandwiches weren't nice, got severe good posioning and ended up in hospital in punjab.
