Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no room service in the morning hours before 7.30 a.m., and no provisions for coffee / tea at all. I request the management to provide coffee / tea maker in each room so the guest feel a bit comfortable.

Cleanliness was poor. Hot water in the toilet came 5 drops at a time. Was very inconvenient to shower without enough flow of hot water. Food was average. The day I was there, the floor, the lobby and more places had lot of houseflies.
From the balcony it has a decent green view. The staff are supportive.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this property. Despite communicating my arrival time in advance, my booked room was allocated to someone else. Additionally, the booking was made through Booking.com with a "pay at the property" option clearly stated, yet I was pressured for payment in advance, which was unacceptable. One staff member, Suresh, continuously demanded payment from the moment I booked, making the entire experience stressful. Furthermore, the property's real condition was completely different from the pictures shown online—misleading and disappointing. This was my first bad experience since using Booking.com, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully, Booking.com offered me a refund as a courtesy due to this unfortunate experience.

Host suresh bro was a wonderful person, he made the stay very comfortable and is the kind of person to become good friends with instantly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and easily accessible from city center, I stayed there as a solo traveller I was in Ooty to visit a temple, overall a friendly experience

This property is only good for bachelor's and men who are on budget trip. Not suitable for couples! We were able to find a premium hotel in ooty town itself for the same cost with very premium level facilities. As per booking.com policy I lost the advance payment of 1000₹ as we didn't stay

After I made a reservation, I called to let them know I was coming. They didn't tell me there was no electricity or water as there was a cyclone the previous day and power and water was effected because of it. I could have saved my time. I went into town and found a room there that had generator and hot water

Frankly i didn't have any concern with the room. They provided hot drinking water whenever needed, any time u can get hot water in rest room. So no issues. One suggestion If they can arrange food for breakfast and dinner with good reasonable price, then this place is heaven.
I can guarantee your comfort and happiness. The double bedroom view was amazing you can relax watching the greenery from the window even whole day. Balcony was there to take fresh air. Hot water Gycer available in room itself. Room was cleaned everytime once guest leave. That much tidy, very big cot, big room, Staff was excellent, very humble person. In one sentence. Close your eyes and book it don't have second opinion. Thank me if you are happy, if unhappy share your concern immediately to staff there, they will rectify and make your staff comfortable.
