Perfect place to stay. The host is very helpful, we had plenty of questions about not just the city, but transport to Nepal and other stuff.. we always got our answers. We got a free upgrade for a bigger room! you can get tasty breakfast for free on the rooftop. When we were leaving, our bus departed at night, we were able to store our luggage the whole day that we spent in the city and even take a shower befor getting the bus. It was just perfect. thanks for everything!

Most comfortable dorm beds in my life. This hostel is quiet and clean, run by a group of very kind and chill young guys who make the stay there feel very homely, as if you're staying at your friend's house. They even took us on free sunrise boat ride! The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the Ghats, in a small alley which is great if you don't like the noise of the main roads. Monkeys and squirrels are regular visitors at the rooftop so there's also a lot of free entertainment...

Very nice place to visit Varanasi. The room was very clean, spacious and the hot water worked as well. The roof top terrace is pretty nice to relax and the breakfast they serve there is tasty! On top of that we were invited to join a sunrise boat tour, which we wanted to do anyways while in Varanasi and now we got to do it for free with the manager and 2 other guests from Ganga Putra. Definitely our highlight during our stay!

The staff was super helpful and organize whatever you may need! They offer a complimentary boat ride at sunrise on the Ganges, free breakfast in the morning, free Chai at 6pm on the rooftop, transportation to the airport and anything else you may need. Location was great as well located just a few minutes from many of the Ghats including Dashashwamedh where you can see the Aarti each night. Would definitely stay here again!

Would highly recommend this place. Both Deepak and Kaushik are amazing host. Really ved the location Kedar Ghat literally is 3 to 5 min walk (no exaggeration here). They serve breakfast at rooftop as well Beds are super comfortable and place is really clean.

I think it’s one of the best budget places I have been staying at in India, basic but very clean. The room didn’t have a window but because it was made so nice, yet simple, it didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. The staff was really nice and helpful too. So I can warmly recommend this place.

Stayed at Ganga Putra both times I was in Varanasi. Great location in the center of the ghats, and amidst the narrow alleys, but tucked away enough so you have space to reclude to some quiet. Facility is super clean and spacious, can do stretching in your dorm room. The beds were very clean and very comfortable. The top floor gets the best natural light! They were constructing a rooftop café the first time I left, and when I came back they had a sweet spot to chill and drink coffee. Staff are super easy-going. Deepak was chill and tolerant of much shenanigans (lolz). But my favorite part was Kaushal, I hope you get to meet him <3
