Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

They should keep a electric kettle, sugar, dairy whitener and tea sachets for morning tea.

seriously why do u guys recommend such hotel.
Nothing i liked there no parking. Moment we turned towards hotel cop stopped and asked money sad scene. Bed was bad and dirty. Breakfast starts at 8.30 Am which is too late.

Small room, bad service, I had paid for an extra person to join, they provided a small mattress for them to sleep on the floor, I was told we will get an extra bed. I wouldn’t recommend to stay

The room sizes fall significantly short of the specifications mentioned on Booking.com, and the staff displayed reluctance in addressing this concern. Cleanliness was another notable issue, with noticeably aged furniture, mattresses, and blankets that appeared to have gone unwashed for months.

Nothing is good about this place We checked in at 1 am in the morning and left after few hours We paid for the whole 7 days but didn’t get any refund which is ok according to booking.com policy it was non refundable. But I would like to highlight for other people who would consider booking here PLS DONT This place is so dirty Smells terrible Room lock didn’t work had to be opened by the receptionist every time I would wanna come back to the room. Bedding was smelly and had various stains Also as soon as we sat down we were attacked by bedbugs Whole body started to itch. When we complained they offered to change the room the next day but it would have been the same and we didn’t bother changing the room We just walked out and booked else where Also we paid for 7 day’s breakfast We thought we would give this a try in the morning before we left. There was only some oily bread with some vegetable curry And some sweet dish were there. Which looked very unappealing Again we didn’t even bother trying it. So ppl pls STAY AWAY ❌❌❌

Sadly a very disappointing stay for a number of reasons: 1. Wi-Fi was very weak and intermittent 2. AC stopped working after a power cut (nobody’s fault) but I spent at least 2-hours calling reception, speaking with staff and trying to explain to them that something had been tripped in the system and it needed to be reset. I was offered different rooms on the same floor but they all had the same problem. Eventually one member of staff result the fuse for the entire floor which fixed the problem but it just took way too long for such a simple fix 3. Worst part about the stay was getting some laundry done. Security guy took around 20-items or so away to be cleaned and said they would be ready the same day. When he brought the items back later, they were all still damp and I had to use another room to hang all the items out to dry. The same guy then tried to charge me £30 which I just couldn’t believe. I went down to reception to query this (security guy was trying to stop me and get me away from the other staff) and I was told that each item should have been around 50p. Clearly the security guy had tried to rip me off, so disappointing! Thankfully I had a great experience in Kolkata so this guy is not reflective of the city, just such a shame.

Most of the stuff were broken / not working. Water shortage issue in the bathroom. Rooms are like matchbox size.
