Our washroom could have been more clean. There were used toilet papers in the garbage bin which caused the washroom to stink.

Food is all frozen even the tea was horrible. The staff was not at all friendly to me . Not so great crowd either as occupancy was low, if you are going as a solo traveler and looking to find community in a hostel this is not the place. Though great for groups Also the shower had no pressure for which I complained but wasn't fixed.

It's a huge property with clean common areas and good dorm rooms. Very near parmath niketan and freedom ghat.

- The location is good, but you have to walk a bit up hill to get there - Beautiful roof top terasse - Dorm is simple but with everything you need. With curtains on the bed to get some privacy, its clean, you get a locker for you backpack. - Nice common area, with some space to do yoga

The only bad thing was the bedroom door, it was blocked when entering every day, the last night I woke up at 3 AM scared when they tried to force it, I opened it and asked them to check it, it can't be possible that it happens every day, the next morning They apologized to me but I didn't sleep that night after the incident

The price is quite high for what you get. Our room was described as deluxe double. It had a good view and was clean but very basic. The bridge closest to the hostel, across the river, is currently closed so you have to get a speed boat across or walk to the lower bridge. This wasn’t too much trouble for us but it’s something to be aware of if you need access to Tapovan because the boat stops running at 4.30 / 5pm.

The hostel is in a good location on the quieter side of the river. It has great views of the Ganges. It has great communal spaces with a cafe, chill out area, yoga hall and roof terrace. Staff were friendly. There were a lot of bad reviews about the steep climb to the hotel, this is an exaggeration and really nothing to worry about unless you have accessibility needs. It is only a few stairs!

We decided to leave earlier than expected due to the "Saturday Night Fever" we had to endure. The rules are very clearly written everywhere (no more hanging out or rooftop gathering after 10 PM) but not followed at all and the feeling has been to try to sleep in a night club. We were in between corridor music with screaming and the rooftop where guests were obviously unable to move the chairs without dragging it on the floor. I would recommend to stay there week days and get ready for the party on week end evenings but that was not the purpose of our time there

This is the first GoStops we were staying in and the concept is very good! Lots of staff (probably because low season and week day we arrived), they could have been more friendly. The one who checked us in has been interactive all our stay long but others were more like "away" in their own world. The room is clean and big, good bathroom, nice view and balcony, would recommend it!

My room on the ground floor was a bit damp, as were the bedding. After I informed the staff, the bed was freshly made and the AC was switched off. After one day it was better.

Very clean and tidy hostel. All employees were very friendly. Nice lounge with billiards, table tennis and table football.

You cant get to the property by car, you have to walk with your luggage for about 500 meters then a steep climb of 100 meters and finally about 100 steps to get to the property. This should be mentioned on booking page.

It was unclean, dirty washrooms, smelling and leaking faucets in dorm as well as common room washrooms. There was no mirror in dorm. No space to dry clothes. Food was overpriced. Linen was dirty as well.

There were no group plans arrange how it is done in zostel..like different groups getting merged for an activity like rafting or bungee jumping Food is average There is no one to guide on best things around or any alternative solution An alternate solution to reach to gostops as after climbing a slope..it's difficult to climb stairs

Connecting with the property turned to really difficult at 4am in the morning...i have to struggle with location with baggage it was tough as i was solo travelling.
