On arrival, I asked for a kettle and was told that although they couldn't supply one, if I wanted hot water to make coffee at any time, I could ask for it at reception - I had to leave early on my final morning, so asked for hot water and was given luke-warm water. Also, the hotel is shuttered at night (the shutter is opened around 5am) which, although there is always someone sleeping in reception, makes me wary of safety (in case of fire etc.)

Govind Hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Jodhpur railway station and convenient for most of the city. I was very warmly greeted by the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable with hot showers (although the hot water is available only 7-10am). The rooftop restaurant has an excellent menu and is reasonably priced - also serves the best chai masala I have ever drunk (a fair-sized pot too); the restaurant also has great views of the fort.

Probably not the best location for exploring Jodhpur or it's fort, but we had already visited the city a week before and stayed closer to the old town so this was fine for one night.

Perfect location for an overnight stay in-between connecting trains from Jodhpur. It's a 5 minute walk from the station and they WhatsApp you prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to get to the property. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to pre order breakfast ahead of an early departure the following morning.

The rooms are quite old and dusty. They only provide the big blanket for duvet and no sheet underneath which doesn’t feel super hygienic.

The location is super right by the train station. The staff were amazing and really helpful. The value for money here is amazing - we were staying one night and it was perfect. The rooftop is perfect to hang out at.

Not too much water coming out of the shower, but makes sense since I was on the top floor. Water was hot, so shower was great!

A nice hotel in a nice location, close to the station, and a short walk to the city center. Rooms are well-maintained and everything is clean. Cozy rooftop area, with especially friendly staff who are happy to chat and help you. Would reccomend for solo travelers, couples and families.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the railway station. You can get autos from in front of the hotel to go to anywhere. It's on second floor, easy to spot. Jagdish di was very cooperative and had communicated the directions before I arrived. Very well-behaved staff, always there to help you. The hotel has a good vegetarian restaurant too. You can have food on the terrace with great views of the fort. If you have a train to catch, this is the ideal place to stay.

This hotel is located very near to Jodhpur Railway Station. The owner of this hotel and his son are really nice person. This hotel do have a vegetarian restaurant. Recommended for families with or without kids.

Lighting in the room and the rooftop restaurant could be a tad brighter and a pair of bathroom slippers would be helpful. Suggest you order Indian rather than Chinese food in their terrace restaurant that has a nice vibe to it.

Very helpful property owner and staff who gave clear instructions to reach the hotel, arranged to get our luggage up two flights of stairs and gave good guidance for shopping and transit times to various places of tourist interest. Further they also linked us up with a very reliable three wheeler driver allowing us to enjoy our stay. The property was also kind enough to take our dinner order and serve it very close to their kitchen close timings and they didn't make any issues over it. We were ble to leave our luggage with them post check out and come back later in the evening at the time of our departure to collect it and they even allowed us to use a washroom prior to this.

There is no AC in the room although there are a couple of fans blowing air around. For the summer months this can be quit hot. We were pretty okay with it although we also visited in the summer, but this is really your own preference. Also the street noise was a bit loud in our room. But also this was no deal breaker for us since we slept through it.

We(2 backpackers) chose this hostel for it's location close to the train station. We got here after midnight and the staff was really nice to open the door for us. We already had gotten a question before about the arrival time, so they really anticipate your needs. The room was nice and the bathroom was okay. Don't expect the most luxurious bathrooms in hostels in India, they fulfill there purpose and this one was pretty clean compared to others we have been. The breakfast and dinner was both really nice, you could just order and eat both on the rooftop terrace. The quality is good and the price is pretty cheap. There are mainly 2 reasons why to choose this hostel, the staff will help you out with anything you need and the location close to the translation is perfect.

The staff were helpful and friendly, upgraded us to a better room for free! Room was clean and comfortable, hotel very close to train station and walking distance from restaurants and fort. Restaurant as part of hotel was great, and Roopo who works there took us on a village safari which was really excellent.

Very convenient to the railway station. Accommodating staff and offered us options on the room to pick when checking in. Comfy beds. Well priced. Well regarded by locals aswell for their own families and staff visiting jodphur. Easy walk into the city.
