Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It would be better if have an AC option though it is quite comfortable with current set-up
Location is Apt near the prominent place. Also the property owner / staff is very friendly and hospitality is awesome.

It is little far from temple about 2km
Very co operative owner guided us through out our journey, the view from the property is the best experience u can see temple and arunachala girl at a same time.very clean and calm environment near property .hopefully we will revisit again and again there

If they provide AC in the property it will good , during summer it’s too hot to stay. Other than these everything is amazing.

I felt some areas are need to improve like providing room AC, Exhaust fans at washrooms.
Entire family rooms are free of space and good hygiene with basic amenities. The location is near to Ramanashramam (15 min walk)

There was nothing I didn't like
The host is awesome. He will go out of his way to help you in the best way he can. The water in the bathroom is heated, so you can have a hot shower if you like. Also the location is very close to Sri Ramana Ashram. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for sure!

Bathroom and toilet is only one is there which is not at all enough for group stay. It's comfort for family stay not more than 6 people.

RED FLAG: manager of the building was acting nice for a while, offering rides and advice. But in the end it seems like he was trying to figure out how to extort extra money from me (typical swindler who talks about Indian saints and religious topics to give you a good impression -- while his main objective is to make easy money). If you're a foreigner, make sure to avoid the manager's low-key offers for 'weed' in order to prevent him from extorting you later on. TIP: If you are going to Tiru, just walk around the streets near Amrutham restaurant, and get a good deal for an AC room (as low as 800 INR per night). This guesthouse is a SAUNA without AC so get ready to sweat all day and night. Building has no WIFI and this neighborhood of Tiruvanamalai doesn't have anything interesting. You have to walk 10-15 min to eat and get everything else. The rickshaw mafia in Tiru won't allow you to get a ride for less than 150 INR, even just to go a single KM down the street (they prevented Uber/Ola from operating in the city, despite the millions of tourists coming in). This hotel is hard to find in maps, so don't follow the street address you find on the internet (it's a fake address).
The cleaning lady was nice and hand-washed my laundry free of charge. You can walk to Ramanashramam in 15 min or so.
