Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The heating is solar so there was no hot water for taking bath in the Mornings. This was quickly mitigated by the room helper who supplied us with hot water in a bucket.
The property has a nice feel, location is good and the staff especially the manager are very helpful. They gave us timely information about the temple being closed in the evening in that day due to a festival. They also arranged a temporary room for my elderly parents to wait while the actual room was made ready and accommodated our early checkin.

Street dogs were barking all night, so unable to get a good night sleep.
Location was great with parking opposite to the hotel. They do not provide breakfast facility, but tea and coffee can be delivered to the room. Rooms were very good size and clean. Walkable distance to the temple, which was great.

I will not say I didn't like but a suggestion to have a coffee maker in the room.

The location is in a by lane which was dirty and with open sewage drains (many pigs can be found in the street !)

This is not a hotel. More a lodge type. Room bare basic. Even the TV didn't work! Reception decent. The gentleman was nice and helpful Staff poorly trained No restaurant. No food. Saving grace - proximity to the Temple west gate entrance For the facilities available, the rental charges are way too high! Best wishes for improvement.

- For Rs.2600 night, this hotel gives you Rs.500 per night amenities - No WiFi network in rooms. Network coverage is only till reception. - No packaged water bottle. One normal glass water bottle filled with RO water is present in the room - AC either doesn't work or makes so much noise that it scares you to death - Washroom seat and washbasin are so close that you can't stand properly to brush or wash hands - Shower doesn't work - The mug and bucket in the washroom are not clean

It was a great experience staying at this hotel. The staffs are so polite. Rooms are neat and clean. The property is located just 5 minutes walking distance from the main temple. They provided all the basic amenities as per their charges. The most beautiful thing is the inner Courtyard which gave us a wow feel and the place is very positive. Parking is available at this hotel. Staffs are arranged with all the requirements. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for spiritual visits at Rameswaram.
