The clearing of trays after in room dining is an issue. The trays are not cleared even after 10 hours after you kept them outside your room. The housekeeping staff which cleans the washroom replaces one less towel every day. We were in triple occupancy but after cleaning only 2 towels were kept on both days in spite of telling the staff that we need 3 towels since we are in triple occupancy. Area of improvement - Ordering in room dining Western dishes eg Grilled fish in butter garlic sauce , the bill gives the same name but the dish is served - grilled fish with a yoghurt based sauce ?? The goshtaba in restaurant was excessively sour.

Fortune Heevan Srinagar is a luxuriously built property with big sized, clean rooms with comfortable mattresses and pillows. The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of foods & the south indian items like upma, uttapam, dosa,idli are excellent! The staff and services during breakfast at the restaurant are very attentive. One staff Siraz desrves special mention.. You also have a complimentary high tea around 5 pm with excellent pakoras & sandwiches etc.

This resort is a little isolated from city and attractions. Nothing within walking distance. The split level room isn't my taste, not suitable older person - risk of falling.

The Staffs, very attentive and helpful. The resort style hotel is nicely furnished with high quality materials. The breakfast is very good, the staffs more than willing accommodate any request we made.

Hot Water availability was a big concern.. with the cold weather outside the need for hot water in the shower was a must. But the water was lukewarm

The location of the hotel was far off from the lal chowk and main attractions of Srinagar..

It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about our experience and were committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The dining experience at Earthen Oven was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed a memorable dinner at the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, where the quality of the food and the attentive service combined to create a truly memorable culinary experience. The attention to detail in both the food and the dining environment was exceptional.

Sometimes in the night it was bit warm May be due to power outages.

Amazing location and the property structure was truly native with all required facilities. Would love to visit again.

Nice cozy hotel with walking distance to Nishat Mughal Garden and Dal lake and tourist area. Tasty food served in 2 restaurants. Courteous helpful staff.

Wish the gym opened earlier in the morning before guests left for daytrips

1. Lovely ambience with authentic historical Kashmiri decor and antiques. Great tea lounge, library, restaurants, live Kashmiri music 2. Modern facilities: well-equipped gym wuth battle ropes, kettlebells, badminton, table tennis. Nice spa 3. Great location: close to Dal Lake, the Mughal gardens Shalimar and Nishat gardens, KCI emporium which is a reasonably priced handicrafts emporium with weaving demos 4. Amazing Food: Great choice of restaurants with a authentic Kashmiri,Indian and international options. We liked the Kashmiri wazwan options at Earthen oven and the array and live station at breakfast 5. Great complimentary food: The welcome drink kehva with spices and sliced almonds was one pf the better lehva we had. And the daily complimentary high tea had masala chai, pakodas and samdwiches etc

Very beautiful property.. they have maintained the cultural charm of Kashmir with all modern amenities. Rooms are very well ventilated and warm. Mr Irfan Mir, GM and Mr Imran were very courteous and quick in their response. Their warm and personal touch made our stay in Srinagar memorable. The women staff at front desk and restaurant deserve special mention for their warm and courteous care towards my spouse and kids. I convey my heartfelt thanks.

It's a comfortable family resort with a nice reasonably priced spa and great amenities. Food super delicious! Some of the staff don't speak hindi or English much but overall it was a great experience.
