Parking is on the street. Wish it could be in a private parking space.

Very friendly hosts. The owner took the trouble of guiding us on all aspects of the temple visit - verbally and by WhatsApp message. He also guided on good places to eat. Location is very good - less than 5 min from the temple entrance. Lot of thought has gone into furnishing the room with what is needed by travellers.

My stay here at Senthil Akam has been one of the best. The place had everything I needed to make my stay Happy, Secure and Friendly. The owners who are both retired academics are friendly, caring and genuinely hospitable. The staff are very kind and obliging. One of the important thing for me is that the owners are very much present in the compound, which means things went well and things got done. These service apartments are aimed at families. Some rooms are interconnected rooms. Everything from Hot water, WiFi, Washing Machines, Fridge ( in the kitchen) Fans and AC Units WORKED. The staff are there to help with errands.Tea and Coffee making facilities available free of charge in the kitchen Also, Because the place is part of a jewellery shop, there are security cameras and the compound is secured well. I felt completely safe staying in this lovely place. Even when I came back very very late at nights after concerts etc, the neighborhood felt safe. The location is centtral to the Temple. I would like to thank the owners and staff for being so helpful, kind and taking care of this Solo Traveler.

Host is very co-operative and gives proper guidance. Every basic necessity that one can think of is available in the accommodation which tells about attention to detail that the owner has gone through on the basic needs. Very close to temple but still very quiet inside the room with AC.

The best part is closer to the chidambaram natarajar temple (5min walkable distance) and it was very neat and calm place. Property was so good and the amenities was awesome.

Clean, spacious, gracious host, family place, walking distance to South Entrance of the Temple. has kitchen to make tea, coffee. very useful especially for family and with kids. 4 single beds which were clean and comfortable. certain comments mention bed bugs, mosquitos and other things like no bathtub or shower. frankly, those are nitpickers who have to find a fault with anything. what next no swimming pool, sauna etc.,? people come to Tillai to visit the temple or to take shower in a bathtub ? and no there were no bed bugs and doors/windows were kept closed, so no mosquitos either.

Nice house wi the excellent overall facilities. We were in the first floor. Great experience too! If you have family with elderly people travelling, please make sure you ask for ground floor. The owner is a generous and an excellent individual. We were travelling with elderly parents and had been unaware that we were booked for the first floor. But he made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Excellent access to the temple too! Centrally located!

Nice, homely environment. The host, Mr. Poonkundran, explained very nicely about the temple, rituals in temples and timings. Thanks to him, we had great darshana of the God. He also suggested good places for food. We were treated like family members.
